Tacky rubber care

I have a H3N which is tacky. After about 2.5 hours of straight playing the rubber lost most tackiness. Is this normal for tackiness to just disappear mid session? Or does it still have tackiness but I can’t feel it with my fingers?

How can I restore this tackiness or will it happen naturally.

I also want to mention I used rubber cleaner on it mid session only to clear dust. Maybe this affected it?

When you play with it for a while the tackiness will go away during the session from moisture or dust.

Just clean the rubber with some distilled water and then cover it with a non sticky plastic sheet. When you use it next time you'll find it tacky again.
