Tibhar Szocs Signature 1 vs. Tibhar Samsonov Force Pro Black Edition vs DHS Power G7?

So I've been looking at upgrading my 5ply blade to a 7ply blade (since my first premade bat was a 7ply). I narrowed it down to three blades and I was wondering which of these three blades (Tibhar Szocs Signature 1 vs. Tibhar Samsonov Force Pro Black Edition vs DHS Power G7) would be best for speed and spin but also still be able to give me control. I plan on pairing it with Nitakku Fast Arc G-1 FH and Rakza 7 BH.

I've played with both Tibhar blades, Samsonov Force Pro Black and Tibhar Bernadette Szőcs Signature 1. SFBP feels a bit stiffer and faster, but not by much, and it also has a slightly bigger head. On the other hand, BSS1 offers more control and a slightly higher throw. The differences aren’t huge, but in your case, I’d recommend BSS1.

i would decide purely based on the handle. is it comfortable in your hands and do you have a good grip?
you will need to change feeling anyhow by changing from a slow flexible 5ply to a rather fast and stiff 7 ply. try it in a shop or try someone elses bat. personally i like the handle of bernadette szocs blade most so i would decide for that.

and i would always use the SAME rubbers you had before. only by doing this you will now if the blade suits your game or you go back to your well known 5 ply. take your time too. i needed at least 3 months of play with my new blade to truly adapt in matches.

and because you said your premade bat was 7ply: that will definitly not be the same 7 ply as in an professional blade, so you shouldn't decide based on that but rather if you need a stiffer blade for the way you play

Hey man - off topic. Can you please share your feedback on HAL with me? I recently bought it from a friend but haven't tried it yet. I am currently using a Viscaria with Victas V 15 Extra and Hexer Powergrip SFX on backhand. Thank you.

for me it plays like a slower viscaria with a higher throw, but feeling wise it is so different, because it feels really soft compared to viscaria and has a lot less vibrations. it also has a really fast rebound and therefore plays like an outer carbon blade with the forgiveness and feel like an innerforce blade. so for me best of both worlds

personally i don't need a fast blade because i can create enough power for my league to win points in open game. so i play way better with something like the HAL, even though i like viscaria style blades too. but their rather unforgiving nature in open up and touch play when you receive really high quality balls by your opponent, keeps my from using them in competition.

if i were you i would stick the same rubber on the blade you had before and be happy :)
(maybe the powergrip without the sfx, but thats just my style for backhand)
