I love watching these training videos to see what the pros do when no match pressure on. It's redefined how I approach my own training and even matches since I stumbled onto the 'play the way you train and vv' policy.

The effort where it looks like he's pushing to anaerobic failure, I can feel the burn just watching it!

Yes I saw that, was astonished
Can only assume he thought he only needed to show up. In any case it's another sub standard performance from him, he's been up and down for a while now and hasn't reached his best since his Olympic losS to FZD. That match could have gone either way and on that form he'd have walked this tournament

Idk he was just pushing long to Pucar's BH and getting destroyed by that BH down the line lol. Not sure why he just likes BH pushing long and then blocking whole table.... it is a losing tactic for sure.

I think his forehand looks so strained compared to many other asian top players. Like his arm need to be relaxed and extended a bit.
Really impressive intensity and backhand at the bounce.
