Hi! Currently I own a Victas SWAT and am thinking of going back in speed to an ALL/ALL+ blade, at least for a while. I really like my SWAT, especially the build quality and the handle, so I'm thinking to stay within Victas' portfolio. One exception would be a Xiom Novus Allround S, as I also heard a lot of good things about this blade, too.

My current favourite would be the SWAT 5PW, but I couldn't find much information about this blade. Does anyone here know this blade and could make a rough estimation about it's speed and the vibration? Also does anyone know how it compares to the Xiom Novus Allround S?

I also own a newer Stiga Allround Classic, but this one is a bit too slow, it vibrates too much for my taste, I'm disappointed with the build quality and also the handle is sliiightly too small (Master). Does anyone know how the SWAT 5PW compares to this blade?

Other blades I found from Victas that are matching the ALL/ALL+ category are:
  • Dyna Five Soft
  • Euro Classic All+
Is anyone able to tell me something about these blades and eventually how they compare to the SWAT 5PW or Stiga Allround Classic?

What are you missing right now with the Swat 7p? And is it something you can grow into using slightly slower rubber for example?
None of the gear you currently play is extreme in any regard, so chances are you can just learn to use it given a bit of proper time and guidance.

So what happened ist this:
I'm currently playing my SWAT with Vega Europe 1.8 in both sides. Initially I was planning to switch to a faster FH rubber after the current season. So just for fun I bought some used rubbers and a cheap ALL/ALL+ blade to put these on and I realized that I really like the combination of a slower blade and faster rubbers. In the end I have won as many matches with the SWAT as I have lost with the other blade, but my strokes felt much safer with the slower blade, while still having the benefits of a harder rubber and a bit more speed on the forenhand.
