Yinhe Big Dipper and Moon speed. Compare to their peers - Chinese FH/BH rubbers in similar price range ($10-15 ish) - they are close to average in sponge hardness and tackiness, nothing extreme. Good for drive and topspin, doesn't really stand out (or fall short) in any region. I don't find them extremely fast or spinny (sufficient but not excellent). If I don't know what to put on a blade, I'd not be disappointed with these two (maybe except the weight - Moon speed medium is around 70g uncut).

The only way this happens is when something that someone has hyped up for you becomes a disappointment- which is what happened to me with the Mizutani SZLC. I was thinking that this blade would be a rocket monster. Unfortunately I fell in love with the Cybershape just before I purchased it and purchased it just to close the loop on an undying wish. The only benefit is that I might trade it for another Cybershape lol.

I am also getting some SDC blades with Cybershape-like compositions but not the head shape. Hope those don't enter my meh category either but we will see...

And I want reasons! Why did it fail to blow you away, despite what others say?
Mx-p, andro hexer grip/supergrip, baracuda, acuda s2. Mx-p: Good offensive rubber for first few months, but then the sides crack and the speed and spin goes lower. Really quite a waste considering I live far away from the closest tt shop. Ando grip/supergip: Always on the discount rack for a reason. grip of 09c but speed and power of a 1 layer boosted h3. Not useful at all. Baracuda: Cake sponge speed...meh. Spin...8/10... lacks power from backcourt but not particularily good close to the table either. Drops down to the net when blocking. Acuda s2: best out of this meh list, great spin and speed veryh balanced on the offensive aspect. The rubber j makles you feel like ur playing w a faster baracuda with less bite, makes you feel like you're stuck on the intermediate level with not enough power.

There cannot be a definite answer to this question, since the level of inventory depends on the level of the player. The equipment that will be average for an advanced player will be beyond his capabilities for a beginner player.
In my opinion, an excellent option among rubbers is the Nittaku Fastarc G1.
