So from week 48 (this week as of this writing) to year's end the ITTF rankings use 50% of the rankings points from December 2020 in addition to the points from the rules of the rankings rules for 2021.
Anyone heard anything about how the reasoning goes from January on yet?
Probably safe to assume something similar, but ever declining percentage, 40-30-21-10% up until about the summer or even later? As the first points for this year was the Olympics(?).
Not that is is fair or anything, but a fun perspective, is to see what the current rankings would be if only using the events of 2021 so far.
