Ms Im Li Ying WS player from Malaysia, who started from the QLY round, won three matches to move into the MAIN Draw, is into R16. What a feat, as she is WTT ranked 799.

Despite Andreas Levenko being sponsored by DHS and he explained why on his YT channel I believe he’d be better of using hybrid or non tacky rubbers especially on his backhand. It just doesn’t suit his play style and he missed numerous serves too against Gauzy. He can still keep the W968 though.

You think DHS doesn't make any hybrid or non-tacky rubbers? It's less about the technology and more about what he feels comfortable with.

I never wrote they didn’t. I‘ve also never heard of DHS sponsored players being sent non tacky DHS rubbers and I’m pretty sure they don’t make national level Goldarc 8 rubbers.
Also, what hybrid DHS rubber are you thinking of cause I don’t know any.
Also, you say he feels comfortable about but he dumped multiple serves in the net and he kept looking at his rubber.
A rubber may feel comfortable to play with but if he can’t perform with it during important matches then its time to consider trying something else

He could use Goldarc or less tacky Skyline, but Goldarc I believe is ESN so it won't have national branding.

Pros look at their rubber all the time, Gauzy is a really tough nut, that backspin is sometimes heavier that people give him credit for. Hopefully he will take your advice if he really needs it, but I doubt he will beat Gauzy regardless.

Oh, by serves I meant his own (Leveko’s) serves. Misreading a couple is fine but dumping your own serves into the net multiple times is just too much. Also, he’s been sponsored by DHS for a year and he hasn’t achieved any significant titles.
This is just my opinion though. To me it looks like Chinese rubbers don’t suit his technique but at the end of the day he knows better as he’s the one using them.

Most players have to maintain something to keep their contracts so I suspect if he doesn't perform he will lose his. But a year is a long time, I suspect the issue has more to do with the opponent and maybe the environment than the rubber.
