WTTTC 2022 : How was the 3rd team chsen to advance in a group ?

In the above page the 16 advancing teams are marrked with symbol at the end.

I was curious how the third team was chosen
On the men's side it is two teams India & England
On women's side it is Hungary, Korea, Czechia & Romania

I was wondering how these above teams were chosen to advance only from certain groups but third team from other groups were not chosen.
I am sure there is an explanation somewhere on WTT pages but I could not find it.

I know they did not have the initially planned 40 teams were not there
8 groups of 5 would have given equal 2 teams from each group

I am not sure, but i read or heard somewhere that the teams were chosen according to their WR ranking (same than used for seedings).
the WR team ranking is based itself on the team members WR ranking (taking their average ? considering the 3rd best ranked player ? not sure...)

i'm interested in the answer as well

2.2.2 In addition the two highest ranked third-placed teams will qualify for the knockout draw and be drawn into positions 2 or 15, ensuring that teams having played against each other in the group stage shall not meet again in the first round of the knock-out competition.

2.3 Women
2.3.2 In addition the four highest ranked third-placed teams will qualify for the knockout draw and be drawn into positions 2,7,10 or 15, ensuring that teams having played against each other in the group stage shall not meet again in the first round of the knock-out competition.
