Yuto Muramatsu to Tibhar?

Hi everyone,

Just saw the pictures of Muramatsu winning the WTT Feeder Cagliari and I noticed he's wearing a Tibhar shirt. Also, in a training clip on his Instagram with Alexis Lebrun he seems to be wearing a Tibhar shirt.

I can't see any announcement on this move and his Victas signature blade also still seems to be available.

Anyone who has more details on a potential move? And perhaps what equipment he is now using?

Muramatsu was on video with the Asian Tibhar manager from Germany WHO probably helped him with Saarbrucken transfer.
Probably if he switch to speedy soft d tecs or something... He wouldnt Play worse . He still use Red Victas v20 double extra and nittaku blade

Any link for chopper using Grass Dtecs? I never seen someone chopping with this rubber. JSH played with celluloid ball.
I don't know of current players using it, but I don't really keep up to date with this. Yes you may be right, Joo was using it with celluloid balls, but he also used p1-r with celluloid balls.

Grass D.TecS was released prior to 2009 (not sure when) as it doesn't have an ITTF number so it was designed for celluloid ball.

Maxim Chaplygin used it to chop in 2019.

Though it's true that some on the women's side (e.g. IND players and BRZYSKA Anna of POL) use it to pushblock now.

Maybe does why everyone changed to Dignics ))
T05 Hard is still very popular and i still vouch for T05 to for ob players today
also, many choppers today don't use grass, same theory
but it doesn't mean grass wasn't used by choppers before.

I recall grass was quite popular back then, but I can't remember that far

We have several users in our league with that rubber.
Most of them play it like Batra with little to no sponge.
But it seems the rubber is kind of capable to do a decent job for defense-chop with "more" sponge because one or two players do use them like this.

I tested it for both because we had a player i was training who used it and i didnt really liked it to play with it from further behind the table. Its throw and playing characteristics are quite different compared to the usual suspects^^

T05 Hard made for plastic ball
I think you give the manufacturers a bit too much credit. The phrase "designed for plastic balls" is mostly a a marketing term used by the major brands to sell their more recent products, T05 is a high spin rubber, both for celluloid and plastic, and there's nothing to say that you can't use it for plastic balls, at least not for players like most of us.
I'm sure the requirements of elite players have changed a little with the introduction of plastic balls and new high-tech blades, so manufacturers have continued development to meet those requirements better, but I don't feel that older rubbers are necessarily unsuitable for plastic balls, they're just a little different, which may or may not suit a player.
That's my view anyway... :)
