It does seem pretty similar to EL-S in terms of speed and spin ratings. The EL-S is a tad bit cheaper. And EL-S comes in 1.7mm thickness, to reduce the weight.
Good to hear, I’ll probably get the FX-D then. The Aurus Sound is slow even with a very fast all-wood 7 ply and 7mm thick blade. But I’ll look into the FX-D deeper, and read some reviews about it. Thanks!
Hey, it's labeled as 35 but is actually closer to 40 degrees. Interesting to hear the FX-D. I think it could be a good option. Maybe that or EL-S. Thanks!
I'm interested on the Evolution FX-S and EL-S rubbers. I'm probably not going to get a rubber in 2.1 or max thickness. 1.7 or 1.9mm is probably better for me. Because I want my setup to be in the range of 175g-185g. My blade is already quite heavy, 90 grams. I'm interested to hear your opinions...
Hey, right now I'm using the Tibhar Aurus Sound rubber on both sides. It's decent, but sometimes I feel like I need more speed and spin. Looking for something faster, spinnier, maybe with a harder sponge, like from the Tibhar Evolution series. I also need a relatively lighter rubber. Not really...
Also because I like loop driving like the Chinese. With the Tenergy I need to hit more flat to produce “power”. The spin is good and I don’t have to always use my whole body. But I like moving and using my whole body in the shot.
