  1. Nittaku C1 vs Butterfly Rozena

If you’re considering Fastarc C-1 but think that 45 degree is a bit too hard, why not check out Nittaku Factive which also has a 45 degree sponge hardness but the topsheet is a bit softer, so overall the rubber feels more like 42 degrees. Speed and spin-wise it’s also a bit tamer than Fastarc C-1.
  2. Xiom Vega Korea Review

Interesting, thanks for sharing your results. I might the Korea on a Viscaria then. Been eyeballing a used one for quite some time now. Curious how it’ll feel like as I’ve only used Innerforce blades so far …
  3. Xiom Vega Korea

Thanks for the tip to not reglue the rubber to often as it's not super-cheap 😅 But are you sure the rubber is well suited for beginners? I mean, 45° sponge hardness is quite hard for newbies I think 🤔 Also, if the topsheet is heavily tensioned as you say, I could image beginners having trouble...
  4. Xiom Vega Korea Review

For those of you who have already tried the Vega Korea: Which kind of blade would you recommend to use with it? Should it be rather soft/slow or hard/fast? In Spintester's Vega Korea review they recommend the usual suspects like Harimoto ALC or Viscaria. I don't have a Viscaria but do own a...
  5. Xiom Vega Korea

I haven't tried out the rubber myself yet but Spintesters has recently published a quite comprehensive review for the Vega Korea: https://www.spintesters.com/xiom-vega-korea-review-test/ Hope this helps :-) I am tempted to buy this rubber just for testing purposes but haven't decided yet on...
  6. Favorite rubbers based on sponge color?

I like the purple color of the Nittaku Factive sponge as it is quite unique.
  7. Easy-To-Use Tensor Rubbers

As promised earlier, here are my first impressions: Setup FH: Andro GTT45 2.0mm BH: Andro GTT40 2.0mm Blade: Andro Timber 5 All Black Edge tape: 12mm Nittaku Super Shock Guard + blank Scotch Fineline tape (for debranding) ;-) Note that I opted against the Yasaka Sweden Extra and got the Andro...
  8. Nittaku Flyatt Carbon

Not sure if this information is still relevant to you but according to this Spin Testers Review for Flyatt Carbon, the blade has 5 layers of wood and 2 layers of thin carbon. The Flyatt Carbon Pro is using kevlar combined with wood. Unfortunately I cannot find any information regarding which...
  9. Easy-To-Use Tensor Rubbers

@turbozed Sounds great! Thanks so much! GTT45 and GTT40 it is! Will post my experiences once it’s arrived and I played couple strokes with it 😊
  10. Easy-To-Use Tensor Rubbers

Still no one who has experience with both, Andro GTT 45 and Nittaku Factive? 🤔 I found this page which compares both and they sound very similar in terms of spin, speed and control: https://www.spintesters.com/best-intermediate-table-tennis-rubbers-test/ I’m currently considering Andro GTT45...
  11. Easy-To-Use Tensor Rubbers

Can anyone who has played both Andro GTT 45 as well as Nittaku Factive compare these two rubbers? I am trying to decide between them.
  12. Weak FH , good FH rubbers. Any advice ?

Thanks! I found the Mark V for 28€ on sale. Might just try it out with Mark V on one side and Flyatt on other side lol.
  13. Returning to TT after 35 years

I also heard good things about Nittaku Factive but also read that Andro GTT45 is quite similar. Does anyone have any real-world experience comparing the two? Is there any Major difference? Also noticed there is a softer version of the Andro called GTT40. Is this any good? Never played with a...
  14. Weak FH , good FH rubbers. Any advice ?

I am also in the market for Yasaka Mark V as it seems to be a not too fast tensor rubber but I also found the Nittaku Flyatt. Are both these rubbers comparable/similar? Looking for something easy to use as a beginner.. thanks in advance :-)
  15. Alternative beginner tensor rubber

I am in the same situation and now eyeballing Andro GTT40 which seems softer than GTT45 but wondering how much softer? Is it too soft maybe?
