  1. ALC vs ZLC

Aren't all Harimoto blades inner-fibre? Yet another variable!
  2. Uranus pro vs ak47 on backhand

If you are talking about Yinhe Uranus, that's a short pimple rubber. Comparison with Palio AK47, an inverted rubber, isn't really valid.
  3. Backhand Rubbers of Donic

Baracuda is quite good for spin and control, but it is a bit spin sensitive.
  4. Experience with some other Loki rubbers - Arthur China, GTX Pro (inc)

I tried both of them. AK47 is lacking a bit of spin/surface grip IMO. Moon 12 is closer to foreign rubbers, but it still lacks a bit of easy speed. I had M+ so maybe the H- is better. All unboosted BTW, otherwise it would be a unfair comparison.
  5. Experience with some other Loki rubbers - Arthur China, GTX Pro (inc)

I hope Telson can really challenge the ESN/Japanese rubbers. In China, Tibhar Aurus and Stiga Mantra dominate the market of non-tacky rubbers around 150 CNY. Most Chinese non-tacky rubbers e.g. Sanwei Gear nano, 729 Presto MAX are stuck at 100 CNY. Loki Arthur Europe Diamond is at 120 CNY but it...
  6. My Personal Guide to Rubbers on Aliexpress

My Rxton 5 was 65g uncut, slightly lighter than the usual 70g uncut.
  7. Palio AK47 appreciation topic

I have Palio AK47 red and its topsheet is similar. It would slip if I try to brush the ball too thin. It is more suitable for speed drives and punches than brush loop. Much better if you can engage the sponge.
  8. Experience with some other Loki rubbers - Arthur China, GTX Pro (inc)

Not matt but I tried all three rubbers you mentioned. T3 has the softest sponge out of all three, feels slightly softer than G1. Good speed, but not grippy enough. Brush loop and spinny serve would slip. I would not recommend it unless you like to do a lot of backhand punches. R3 pink is a...
  9. Moon 12 Blue on sale!

Are you sure you have the M-, not M+? I had M+ and that feels slightly softer than 47d ESN.
  10. what new hybrid rubber?

PK50 is no longer manufactured since August 2023. Some shops still have them in stock but it has been removed from Nittaku's website.
  11. A. Lebrun's blade

Felix Leburn hyper carbon is Limba, Ayous, fibre, Ayous. Not sure about Alexis. Photo from here: http://m.yoger.com.cn/info-35819.html
  12. Advice needed - Shang Kun AC vs Dynasty Carbon

I can buy from China, just that the XX edition is at >1800 cny, almost double the price of the normal version.
  13. Advice needed - Shang Kun AC vs Dynasty Carbon

How do I determine when I should change the blade and when I should change the rubbers? I am quite happy with my current rubbers, so I want to stick with them and change the blade. I know what I don't like with my current blades: Rutis Revo is too unforgiving (due to its small head size, I keep...
  14. Advice needed - Shang Kun AC vs Dynasty Carbon

The problem is the Xu Xin Edition is hardly available in Chinese penhold anymore. Seems like Stiga stops making it.
  15. Advice needed - Shang Kun AC vs Dynasty Carbon

@vvk1 @Lowday20298 Thank you for your advices, but I have strong personal bias against Butterfly and I am not going to buy a Dignics, Tenergy, Glayzer, or Rozena. I am happy to use softer rubbers. I think the Sieger PK50 is 50d, and is manageable for me; I am planning to stick with tacky/hybrid...
  16. Advice needed - Shang Kun AC vs Dynasty Carbon

Dear all, I need your help to decide which blade should I get next. My level & style: Penholder with Full RPB, plays in local leagues in UK - not the first division. Forehand is decent for someone without regular coaching, backhand is a weakness that I sometimes get away with if my opponent...
  17. Rakza Z and Rakza Z Extra Hard vs Golden Tango PS and Golden Tango

I have Razka Z EH and after 40 hours it's already shrinking around the tip. Have you played with other hybrid that doesn't shrink as much? Thanks.
  18. How to handle short and half-long serves to FH?

The FH flick is a bit like a drive, unlike the BH flick where you have lots of room to coil up and really brush the ball. If it is heavy backspin and short, just do a short push, you can't flick everything effectively (if you can you are way better than your opponent already). if it is half long...
  19. A good downgrade from Fan Zhendong ALC?

I don't think you need to change the entire setup, FZD ALC is fast but not super fast. Maybe hybrid rubbers or tacky rubbers? If you are sticking with Butterfly, perhaps Glayzer 09c is a good candidate.
  20. My 11.11 Haul ‼️‼️
