  1. G-1

5 out of 5 rating for G-1 Plays very similar to T05. A little less spin but also less spin sensitive because of it. Has a softer feel however.
  2. Which is faster? Tenergy or old speed glue rubbers?

I can give you a direct comparison to a T05 unboosted vs a speed glued Hurricane 3 with the exact same 40+ ball. The speed glued H3 was Noticebly faster, softer and more spin (lots of arc) AND louder sound. Both used on the same blade too. Quite a big difference I might add, especially the arc...
  3. G-1

Review by 'Ndragon' on item 'G-1'

Plays very similar to T05. A little less spin but also less spin sensitive because of it. Has a softer feel however.
  4. softer sponge

Interesting read so far. Let us know in another week how you are getting on. As for the harder BH. For a whole season and half I used H3 unboosted/Palio Thors on my BH. My BH was very consistent with spinning up backspin balls (90%), my short game was almost unmatched in my league, my...
  5. Donic Bluefire BigSlam

no idea, its just on weekly special at Dandoysports
  6. Donic Bluefire BigSlam

I am curious about this rubber. Can anyone compare this with other soft tensors or specifically Stiga mantra S
  7. Sponge difference 1.7 vs 1.9 vs 2.1

Thanks for the replies guys. I found a couple of very interesting forum threads on this subject just now and I definitely will not go below 1.9. Totally see what you're saying @Lightzy and I am willing to take the chance and go with the 1.9 compared to what I normally use being 2.1. I am not...
  8. Sponge difference 1.7 vs 1.9 vs 2.1

I use it in 2.1 and the VKM is an ALL blade not too slow, pretty much like the Stiga ALL classic with speed. Its pretty nice for mid distance looping but I am wondering about the thickness due to a new blade I am looking at purchasing but the recommendation is less than 2mm sponge paired with...
  9. Sponge difference 1.7 vs 1.9 vs 2.1

I rarely chop on my FH though. I fish/counter and loop
  10. Sponge difference 1.7 vs 1.9 vs 2.1

oh wow nice, thanks for that. Hmm I see what you mean. I am wondering specifically with my Mantra S which is quite soft so I wonder if it would still generate good arc at mid distance to keep my counterloops safe
  11. Sponge difference 1.7 vs 1.9 vs 2.1

I would like to get the details and personal experiences of the direct differences of the sponge sizes. Assuming its the exact same rubber sheet and sponge hardness, what would the differences be. Inverted rubbers only. If possible break it down for as many different types of shots and from all...
  12. Defensive Blade Suggestions? (2017)

I have had my eye on this blade for a while now? Does this guy by any chance use OX pips? Can you tell me how strong the spin reversal is.
  13. Defensive Blade Suggestions? (2017)

So what did you go with in the end? Also what long pips did you choose?
  14. Replacement for Xiom Vega Pro

wow top notch reply mate thanks :D The price of Vega pro/Europe is very appealing. I was considering them for when my Mantra S goes dead. Although leaning towards Europe since I like soft rubbers. Would you be able to give a direct comparison of Vega Europe and mantra S?
  15. My Table Tennis Youtube Channel!

yeah its blocked for me too
  16. Replacement for Xiom Vega Pro

Actually I might ask something relating a little to the answers to the OP. Xiom Vega Pro is generally the same as all the newest and relevant ESN rubbers right. So what is the difference between the DF version? or the newer ones the Omega 4 or something. Also if anyone could give a direct...
  17. My Table Tennis Youtube Channel!

Good stuff mate. I will watch and Subscribe later and comment from my channel later tonight :)
  18. Forehand rubber Sriver replacement

I feel like the exact answer is the speed glue version which is Sriver G3. Sriver like Mark V I feel doesn't have anything similar that is new. But there are perhaps new rubbers like the Xiom Vega Intro which seem to be said by a lot of people the do it all rubber like Sriver except little more...
  19. How to chop harder with normal rubber

Literally you want to simply use faster stroke or more wrist and open the racket accordingly. The more underspin you want to achieve the harder it becomes. Practise Practise Practise
  20. Looking for help choosing new blade in off- region

I am legit going to take a picture of this comment because this has so much truth and reality to it that I think I need to be reminded of this every now and then to stay grounded. Great post and great story
