  1. Experience with some other Loki rubbers - Arthur China, GTX Pro (inc)

Here's my order history of Loki rubbers: Loki Rxton 3 Blue - March 2023, GOO Store - this rubber was a tank, 50 hours still going strong, boosted without separating Loki Arthur China - June 2023, Loki Official Store - bought two sheets; both durable and good quality 50+ hours on one and still...
  2. Experience with some other Loki rubbers - Arthur China, GTX Pro (inc)

Had my first bad experience with Loki yesterday. I've gotten great performance and life out of every other Loki rubber I've tried. Rxton 3 Blue and LAC were some of my best performers and I got around 50 hrs of play from them each and they're still in good enough shape to use. I recently put...
  3. WTT Star Contender Ljubljana 2024 06/11-16

I noticed this too. Felix played better after that little outburst. Maybe it releases some nervous energy and is actually helpful? Everyone's brains work a little different I guess
  4. WTT Star Contender Ljubljana 2024 06/11-16

Well that was a really entertaining MD final. Everyone but especially Hayata was hitting some incredible winners. Seriously Hayata could have her own highlight reel from this match alone. She's such a good doubles partner.
  5. Stuor long 5 or Sanwei/ Yinhe

Why Aurora Max for FH? Only ever see it mentioned as a control BH rubber.
  6. Anybody ever fixed air bubble on topsheet?

Alright so I squeezed some dhs no 15 into the bubble and then put a book or two on the paddle after. Preliminary results are that the bubble is now less visible. Maybe 10% as bad as what it looked like before. Didn't expect results like this visually. Will see how it plays in a couple days.
  7. Anybody ever fixed air bubble on topsheet?

@TensorBackhand did you eventually try to glue the topsheet bubble? I boosted a brand new Loki Rxton 3 Pink to just make it a bit softer (went from around 52-53d to 49-50d). But then a bubble developed on the edge of the rubber. I don't have to cut a hole or anything, and it's not a ton of...
  8. My experience with Chinese rubbers

I just got an Acoustic Inner Carbon G-Revision so I'm interested in other Chinese FH rubbers you've used. Do you have a top 3 or 5 that you've used with the Acoustic Inner Carbon? Which ones didn't work also, so maybe I can avoid them?
  9. funny reaction at club because of tacky rubber

Just a week or so ago, my Loki Arthur China that has over 50 hrs of play time since February or so was able to pick up a ball and keep it stuck while holding my racket upside down. Not for a few seconds but for over 15 seconds when I shook the racket a little to make it fall. I don't even...
  10. Post your latest EJ purchase

The two blades I picked up from my time in Tokyo (I guess 3 if you count the mascot racket) Both 88 grams. Acoustic Inner G is 1313hz and the Resonate AI is 1500hz. Mascot not measured.
  11. Beginner looking to build a solid racket

If I had to give myself advice from a couple years ago it would be this. As a beginner don't stress over getting something 'perfect.' Almost anything except for the fastest rackets or specialty rubbers will do the job. Instead just get something with good value so you don't feel sunk cost...
  12. Beginner looking to build a solid racket

Considering most Chinese beginners start with tacky rubbers, I don't think tackiness is something beginners need to avoid. I started off playing with non tacky tensor rubbers and hated the feeling. I switched to a $5 sheet of Yinhe Mercury a few months in and it instantly felt better for me.
  13. 2024 WTT Contender Zagreb, Croatia June 3-9

This is the perfect match to show to those people commenting on Youtube and Instagram asking "why doesn't the guy just hit it softly while the other guy is so far away from the table?"
  14. 2024 WTT Contender Zagreb, Croatia June 3-9

These rallies Togami and Alexis are having are insane. Lot of high speed highlight moments so far!
  15. Double Fish samples has arrived - what is your opinions?

My first blade was a Nittaku Acoustic. I liked the feel of it a lot so that I ended up researching the "tung" wood at some point. I was even going to ask a blademaker at some point to copy it using "tung" as the core. It turns out as hipnotic said that the core was kiri. This took me by...
