Best to take lesson for proper strokes. Then get that playing time. I am a returning player, taking coaching sessions...it frustrating to learn the basic as I can play but properly doing so is whole different thing.

I am able to familiarize myself with clipperand ribbers. But my BH shot/return still inconsistent. On a faster pace, bh chopblock is easier tho push and punch inconsistent

I got a sanwei fextra 7, but the coach told me better have a clipper any version. So yup, I bought a clipper wood non wrb - but had no budget for rubbers so a couple of players gave me their spare rubbers. Battle 2 and Jupiter 3 asia are both 40deg rubbers - which I feel is too hard on bh...

jus just curios here... are there 5ply blade limba or koto top but atleast 6.5mm -6.7/8mm thick? the stratus powerwood from where I'm from is 5ply 6.2mm as of seller.

just to continue my inquiry.. are medium to medium-hard rubber as a backhand applicable for someone returning? blade is sanwei fextra7 rubber is jupiter 3 asia or tornado v5 TIA

I appreciate all the advise. I plan now on getting offensive s and fextra 7 or maybe just a clipper. Entry level esn/jpn rubber are expensive on my end - will opt for chinese hard/medium rubbers. (will try and ask local clubs if any would help me out) thanks again!

Hi! So play at Ayala malls 30th? May I ask if you're still considered as beginner - if so would like to play/spar with you. As I went to 30th few days ago - its hard to play if you dont have any partner, and own blade, as you'd be sitting at the side most of the time. Its a long line for a turn...

I did consider this.. But I was told by a coach that fextra 7 has alot of quality issues. most splinter and chip off with just ONE re-glue or change rubber. Hence he advised me to go with offensive s or u2 spin

Hi. Yes I was planning to buy a 5ply blade and a 7ply blade. Will it be functional ot have both? or just a waste, and go straight to 7ply? I am a returning to sport for 12yrs stop

do you have alternative for yasaka sweden extra? I do not see in my local stores. And isnt Xiom ve g intro a tensor rubber?
