Hello everybody, I am an 18 year old Lithuanian who's interested in improving my skills, and I wanted to ask if you guys knew of any table tennis training camps happening in China this summer (2024). I am super dedicated to the sport and want to travel to China to train with the best and just experience travelling alone to such an interesting country in general. Any help is appreciated!

what is your level?
i've been training table tennis on and off for about 3 years, but have played the game in my garage since i was a kid. i know i started training really late (age 16) but as of right now, i'm training with teens that have played the game and competed at a national level, so i like to think i still have a chance at something 😁

unfortunately no. haven't found any camps that would reply to my emails 😂
Seems like you've dodged a bullet.
The spend money on a local coach idea sounds very good to me.
But I do get the attraction to visiting China. I'd like to go and explore it a bit taking my racket with me and playing TT everywhere 😊
The one club that I thought about once was Ti Long Club in Vietnam-another country I'd like to visit. His YouTube channel and testimonials 'seem' legit.

you should mail to them in Chinese... perhaps !
many places in China is not short of foreigners, in fact, getting in foreigners is now becoming some what of a burden
so, I am not surprised if they do not reply to emails.

This applies to high level players too and without connections, it is difficult to get in. Even if you willing to pay more than the asking price.
