Butterfly Innershield ZLF DEF
Pros
  • High spin
  • High dwell
  • High dampeniing
Cons
  • Average sweet spot
  • Too flexible
  • Frigile
Very niche blade for defense. 165x155mm 930Hz, 85.3g. Slow, flexible and with a lot of dampening. The soft top layer is fragile and must be sealed with 2 layers of lacquer.

Use of hard rubbers lowers the vibrations and makes the blade more stable. With TG3 BS 40 is a spin demon. I tried 388D-2 in 1mm but was too springy on that blade. P3V at 1mm was much better.

A cheaper blade with high dwell and soft top layer is Victas Blockman.
