Quality is questionable :( See here: https://www.tabletennisdaily.com/forum/topics/sanwei-shoes-order-issue.35758/page-2

(These sanwei shoes are rebranded Speed Art shoes).
ya... i love my sanwei skystrike shoes but after a couple months, i had to glue part of the rubber sole that was detaching a bit (inside of right shoe, from dragging foot for forehand). they work perfectly again though (used shoe glue). Sanwei support was nice and gave me a little compensation and it covered cost of repair.

i still love the design of the shoes, how they fit, and the lacing mechanism, so i bought the speed art version for cheaper to have a backup pair. figure if durability is an issue then id rather get it for as cheap as i can

I have tried Butterfly (horrible sizing and fit), Mizuno (same-do they make Butterfly shoes?),Euro brands like Stiga and Tibhar fit too long but tight.
I am looking for a shoe with some cushioning that fits like a normal sneaker.
Any suggestions?
I use a long time handball shoes. Best for me.

I use Xero (brand) barefoot shoes. Gets you super low to the ground, and allows your body to use it's natural range of motion. I have tried pretty much every TT shoe brand and none of them even come close to barefoot shoes in terms of comfort and performance.

I ordered the Nittaku x yonex moving aero and a used mizuno drive 7 from buyee. They should come next month and I'm excited. I been using asics gel rocket 11 (a volleyball shoes) and I hate it.
How are the Yonex x Nittaku shoes? I'm looking at ordering a pair

I have to give the best of props to Speed Art/Sanwei as their Fireflash shoe is amazing.

It looks sick, it feels sick and it performs sick. Before I kept two shoes in my bag, one for wood floor and one for PVC floor. Now I don't need that at all since this shoe works on both and it works amazingly. The grip is outstanding, honestly second to none. Take Mizuno, Butterfly, Asics, they are not even in the same dimension.
The only shoe that is in the same dimension is the Yonex Aureus Z copy from Kawasaki (maybe the original too) but I think even that doesn't match the grip.

This Sanwei/Speed Art shoe has the best grip ever, a hard boost foam midsole, has a carbon plate, it is lightweight, and had BOA lace. I have never seen a more modern shoe for table tennis ever and it is lovely.
But still it's by far, non contested feature is it's sole grip in every situation. This feature alone would make it the best table tennis shoe.
Thanks for the tip! Bought myself a pair from Sanwei's web site, should be arriving sometime mid-feb. Looking forward to trying them out.

Now that I found a good pair of TT shoes I can comment something positive too.
I currently use Xu Xin’s version of Li Ning shoes and they are very comfortable and grippy.
You have to size up tho, I normally wear 42-42.5 and 43.5 is ideal for me.
Gotta ask, I'm very curious on these exact shoes.
I use Butterfly Lezoline rifones now, have you tried those? I have them in 43, which is just a little to big, i should be using them in size 42.
Have you tried butterfly shoes? For size comparison.

Balenciaga zero drop sock sneakers are insanely comfy and light weight if you have foot problems.

a japanese guy at my club recommended it, Ive been playing with it for 3 months. Very good, one thing I don't like is the ventilation, it gets quite hot and sweaty. Other than that It is very very good. Its a little big, I wear size between 10 - 10.5 US and ordered 28.5 cm(US 10.5). It is a little roomy, I wish I ordered 28cm instead

Looks like there's two different models of the Yonex collaboration. MovingAce and MovingAero. I'm assuming you have the ace version since the aero is specifically designed for more ventilation?

i have the aero, the japanese guy has both and he said aero better. I dont have ace so i just take his word for it. It is a really good shoes, a lot of technology behind it not just a shoe.

Andro also released a good pair that looks good too

I have a few questions so allow me to ask here since I don’t wanna upload a separate post and due to the fact that there are also a lot other post from the past about sizing. I just measured my foot and found to have a size of 25.7 cm. I’ve never owned a TT shoe before and looking to get one. I somewhat have a wide feet I’d say. What kind of shoe do you recommend getting? I only play like once a week or so. Want something durable and reliable. What kind of shoes are true to size based on cm measurement? And for wide footers what’s the ideal shoe? Thanks guys
