From my experience, aliexpress has been very reliable in the past couple of years. No issues with shipping time, or the quality of the products, although I didnt use any of those rubbers for an extended period of time, so its hard to say how much they vary sheet to sheet.

For me its mostly price of the old rubbers, as well as the ease of use. Ive tried Rakza XX, and while it was really dynamic and spinny, it was just too difficult to get a consistent performance out of it, as the shot needed to be perfect each time. But the newer ones were certainly more grippy...

For me personally the tibhar SYNT NG are the best. The ones in the golden package.
