  1. is there any local table tennis shops in Hamilton/New Zealand?

Hello fellow kiwi! There is not a shop in Hamilton. There is only really one walk in off the street shop in New Zealand being Rodney's table tennis in Auckland. Other than that, most clubs have people who sell equipment. I know Waikato table tennis has a supplier of tibhar gear. Lots of kiwis...
  2. Combi blade for LP

Donic Alligator. That or you can look on the ooak website, www.tabletennisshop.com.au, at the re-impact combi blades. These are pretty much made for your situation but are a little bit expensive. The quality is second to none though.
  3. Rubber more similar to Tenergy 05fx

Donic barracuda. I have tried both and cannot see too much difference other than the tenergy's durability is higher
  4. Skyline v. Hurricane

Hurricane is made for powerlooping an finishing points with power and spin. Skyline is made for consistency of loops and looping endless balls back. To get a good gauge on the difference, watch Ma Long (Hurricane) and compare to Xu Xin (Skyline).
  5. [LP] Chinese Alternative for Long Distance Defense

Palio CK531A. Great rubber for even better value.
  6. Advise needed: New Blade and Rubbers for an amateur

You should get Yasaka Anti-power on both sides with an OFF+++++++++ blade just to annoy your opponents.
  7. T05+T64 combination alternatives

Although this forum has had hundreds of similar threads, I want to know what the best alternative combination to tenergy 05 and 64 with 05 for forehand and 64 for backhand.
  8. Glue alternative

I'm looking for an alternative to the expensive table tennis glues that I can buy in New Zealand.
  9. Which XIOM Omega VII series suits my style?

What was wrong with the Vega rubbers
  10. BH: Donic M3 or Donic P3?

    Ahh. Yes. I'm sorry
  11. BH: Donic M3 or Donic P3?

Do you mean acuda blue p3 or acuda p3. They are very different rubbers. For the bluefire M3. I've only tried it a few times. I found that it was grippy and fast enough to get the ball over the net. Spin would be a 9/10 and speed a 6/10. However, in my opinion the m3 was the softest rubber I've...
  12. Table tennis dream equipment

Hurricane N301 with Dignics both sides and then a Butterfly Joo See Hyuk with TSP curl on BH and Hurricane 3 neo on fh
  13. Equipment advice

JP03 will not be good on the forehand. It is sooooooooo slow and really mushy. If you are using rasaka on backhand, you'll quickly change to using the rasaka on the forehand.
  14. Equipment upgrade advice needed

If you really want to change your blade, go for something just slightly faster like the OSP virtuoso off- or tibhar stratus powerwood
  15. Need advice upgrading my racket (or not)

You should look at the Yasaka Gioba 5 or the DHS Hurricane H301 for blades. If you like the rubbers, you should keep them and get as good as you can with them.
