I got a couple of the new rx9 with jike on the cover. The sponge is orange with the dhs fingerprint texture. Its curled like it was tuned but dried out, even though its a new product

I just have regular lac and lae. The lae is harder, heavier, and tackier. It uses the same sponge as the asia.

Some Chinese tuned rubbers in 6 months are all curled up. Sometimes they come that way. Thats why I try hard to avoid them

If boosted chinese, more like a couple of months for full effect

Its not unheard of for a company to send the mold to a different company to make a different rubber for a pro. When wang nan went to dhs she never liked the h3 tops so they had 729 make her some Sp with an h3 mold. She already was using a dhs sponge with 729.

I have a darker center carbon. Used to love provine. Just speculation but id be afraid the original owners were quitting and sold the name for what it was worth to someone who will buy cheaper stuff and use the darker name while it lasts
