I've started using Mantra Pro M on both sides and i absolutely love it, especially on BH. @Zwill is right, it plays like a boosted G1.

What about C1 instead of G1? It's not a hybrid but it's still got loads of control and isn't that catapulty, and it's easier to play with than G1.

I've been using G1 on FH and C1 on backhand for the last couple of seasons. I kinda figured that I'd be able to use 09c because G1 is pretty linear & hard, so i figured 09c would be a "upgrade" In hindsight i wish i'd gone for something like Diginics80 instead, but you live and learn!

My 2nd session with Dignics 09c last night. I've come to the conclusion that it's a young man's rubber. At the start of the night it's great, but by the end when I'm getting tired, my shot quality goes way down. I'm loving the Mantra Pro M on my backhand, so i think I'll replace the Dignics...

Yeah it's fast but plenty of control on my acoustic, but on a carbon blade I imagine it would be a rocket. I can't really compare it to other rubbers, I'm not a big EJ, but it certainly seems like a step up from C1.

I need to test it a bit more, but its certainly great for blocking and countering. Open ups not as easy as C1 but when you catch the ball correctly its loaded with spin.
