I bought a Butterfly Jonyer-H in 1991 and stopped playing by 1995. I still have that bat.
Recently picked up the sport again and since then I've used:
BLADES:
- Butterfly Petr Korbel (Japan, black tag)
- XIOM Stradivarius
- XIOM All-round S
- Yinhe Mercury Y-15
RUBBERS:
- XIOM Vega Pro
- XIOM...
I’ve noticed you’re very much the professor when it comes to Blades and rubbers. So one question cos there’s no need to start a new thread - which is faster Boll ZLF or IF Layer ALC? Different reviews say different things!
Well, I admit it's about the looks hahaha. I started playing a few months ago after a gap of 24 years and now it's more a hobby and showing off some nice (pretty!) bats in front of the youngsters! ;) ;)
All the blades I have used so far have been like natural wood colour. I’m wondering if bright coloured handles such as Timo Boll ZLF become noticeably dirty after some use. If yes, can it be cleaned?
And I read in the link you sent 101 is Limba outer ply and 102 is koto. Conflicts with what you’re saying.
Are you sure 1 is koto and 2 is the soft wood?
Why is there almost zero information about the Yinhe Mars Series? M101, M102, M201, M202, M901.
I've read ONE review on M201 & M202 each. And that's it. I do think they look pretty cool and curious to know if anyone's used them.
