    I agree with you. The reason I used magic eraser was that previous rubber was glued with Rubber Cement, Butterfly rubber will not need MEraser at all.

    Thanks for your suggestions. I used acetone with Magic Eraser and after that went with a flat blade. I hope it is good enough for new rubber,

    I just wonder if there are any other way to remove RUBBER CEMENT from a blade, meaning not using your thumb. Must be some solvent that will do the trick without penetrating blade wood, I guess. Thanks
