    I believe 8.5mm is the thinnest for shakehand still okay with taiwan cypress. Which around 105g. Recommend for pips player. This is not a fast blade as any carbon layered. But its a unique with the feeling and the wonderful smell.

    Taiwan and japan hinoki are both soft wood , not really recommended under 8.5mm

    I made a 12.5mm and it feels more than enough😆 also tried a 8mm ebony and its too heavy and hard😂

    Yea , any shape, thickness are customisable, but due to weight of Taiwan cypress , it may not suitable for two side inverted rubbers🥲

    Thank you! Everything in here is taiwan hinoki / meniki https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Chamaecyparis_taiwanensis In my opinion its like around 10% more in dense and weight for each species japan hinoki (kiso) < taiwan meniki < taiwan hinoki

    Highly recommend Taiwan cypress its feels like a carbon-ise 1ply Kiso Hinoki and it also smells amazing too.
