  1. Stiga Inspira Hybrid Carbon

raziel_cr, how do you find the Stiga Inspira Hybrid Carbon?
  2. Xiom TMX Outer Blade Review

+1. Can someone please compare the TMX to the TMXi? Specifically, which one has more vibration? According to the official website, both differs a lot: TMX: VIBRATION 9.1 TMX PRO (with a larger headsize): VIBRATION 9.2 TMXi: VIBRATION 7.4 TMXi PRO (with a larger headsize): VIBRATION 9.0 (?!!!)...
  3. Your Favorite Inner Carbon Blade - SURVEY

Xiom TMXi A lot of feel for the power it gives.
  4. Nittaku Acoustic with Hurricane 3

If I understand correctly, the national H3 blue sponge is more reliant on boosting. I hope your review can stick to unboosted, which I believe most amateurs do.
  5. Nittaku Acoustic with Hurricane 3

Nice review! I'm also using the Nittaku Acoustic LG with unboosted Hurricane 3 Neo, with a Rakza Z on my backhand. There is a Large Handle version. I wonder if the more elastic Hurricane 8 hard will perform better unboosted. Maybe use a powerful rubber on the backhand, e.g. MXP to compensate...
  6. Nittaku acoustic blade - any good?

Mystery solved! Turns out the LG Acoustic weighs 82g (written on the box), instead of the requested 90g. That explains why it feels so hollow when compared with my 88g non-LG one. Weight really plays a great part on a blade's characteristic! Sadly you can no longer guarantee the weight in the...
  7. Backhand dominant grip analysis

Thanks all. I should explain the context more. I have a bad habit of closing the racket angle too much subconsciously when doing forehand strokes. Have been trying to fix it by experimenting different grips for several months before reaching to this grip, which tends to keep the racket more...
  8. Backhand dominant grip analysis

I use a BH dominant grip, the blade shoulder rests on my index finger "big knuckle". When I play FH, during swing back, my index and middle fingers are rigid to form a "frame" to hold the racket in position and keep the racket angle stable. As a result my forearm is also quite stiff. There's a...
  9. EJs who have found the perfect setup?

Nittaku Accoustic LG with Fastarc G1 on both sides - the end of EJ! (so far) I have tried extreme setups - fast blades like Butterfly Amultart (Hinoki+ZLC) which I can't control. Stiga OC + Chinese rubbers which barely bounds. The current setup is the most balanced!
  10. Nittaku acoustic blade - any good?

I see. MXP was too fast for me, so I chose G1. I had never thought rubber can affect a blade's characteristic so much. I thought G1 and MXP are in the same category - hard tensor. Anyway, despite the vast difference, the new acoustic is still a very good blade. It gave what I wanted: more...
  11. Virtual Reality | ELEVEN Table Tennis

I've recently bought a Quest 2 just for this game! Have been playing almost everyday, some thoughts: The way I normally serves (e.g. like Ma Long's serve) becomes tricky without any handle adapter. Hooking serve is more natural - good for me to pick up a new serve! Forehand becomes easier...
  12. Blade or Rubber?

Rubbers for sure - that's what create spin. I can't play without the ability the create spin no matter how good the blade is.
  13. Which rubbers for stiga offensive classic?

A few years ago in my country, Offensive Classic + Donic Baracula on both sides are almost a go-to setup recommended by coaches, I guess due to its forgiveness. Maybe you can try rubbers that has similar characteristics of it.
  14. Anyone using grip tape anymore?

I used to use one because my hand sweats a lot. But it ruins the feel so I no longer use it.
  15. Why do you like Table Tennis???

I like the spin element of it - feels good to see the arc of loops.
