  1. ITTV is dead

And will we get to hear adam again, worlds greatest sports commentator!!
  2. ITTV is dead

Now going to tv.ittf.com redirects you to the WTT live stream page. From a link to a superb archive of table tennis matches, to a link to a bad WTT page with no archives of games is a little rude. Really hating WTT and what they are doing.
  3. ITTV is dead

Just think of all the great matches over the years that are gone and lost for ever to the average fan. I have started playing doubles and was loving going through the archives and watching Xu Xin over the years. Sad
  4. ITTV is dead

So this is the list of PPV, not great if you are in say Australia! Happy to pay for access to full match recordings, but I can't. We have all seen PPV damage sports, this will be no exception. COUNTRY CHANNEL Austria XYZ SPORTS China MIGU China ZHIBO TV Chinese Taipei ELTA Germany XYZ SPORTS...
  5. ITTV is dead

WTT don't bother to keep full matches, only highlights. But now to remove access to matches from before WTT is a really mean hearted thing to do. How was it hurting them? This only hurts the fans and the game.
  6. ITTV is dead

Bloody WTT or whatever it is called! The coverage is rubbish, the videos are stupid highlights which make it look like watching a video game and now it has killed tv.ITTF!?!?!? Crap for the sport, crap for the players and crap for the fans. Really very unhappy about this travesty for the sport.
  7. Aiming with the forehand topspin

[What I learned from Kim Jung Hoon and frequently advocate is to squat down a little more, turn the torso a little more, then allow the ball to come to the natural sweet spot of the impact zone. What you did was rotate the orentation of that zone from cross court to opposite side. You will be...
  8. Aiming with the forehand topspin

I seem to have heard of a few different ways. Hard to explain but I will give it a go. Method 1. If you fix the timing of the rotation of the hips and shoulders with the arm movement. Ideally it would be the same stroke (good consistency) you just change your feet so you are facing in the...
  9. Aiming with the forehand topspin

I was hoping for a little help on the correct / alternative techniques for placement or aiming with the forehand topspin. How does the action change between going cross court or down the line? I have heard a number of alternatives but can't figure it out. With thanks
  10. Best table tennis robot - Amicus prime or Power pong 5000

I am excited for you. I am in Australia and it took a couple of weeks for the Amicus to be flown in from Europe so I hope yours comes earlier. To build the excitment, you can download the app from the play store if you have an android phone. Check out the features, the videos of the...
  11. Best table tennis robot - Amicus prime or Power pong 5000

I didn't look at any other brands of robot, I only looked at which version of the Butterfly I wanted to get. Butterfly is a pretty big brand and I did trust in that to some extent. I went for the software of the prime as I think it is the way of the future. Whilst the hardware remains the...
  12. Have you started to play again?

Australia started a couple of weeks ago for training but not yet for competition. Great sport for social distancing! First day at the club was like being in a shooting gallery with balls flying everywhere as everyone was so rusty.
  13. Best table tennis robot - Amicus prime or Power pong 5000

Amicus prime. I have had the amicus prime for a year now and it is superb. If you can afford it, buy it. The app is slightly glitchy, but perfectly useable. The best reason to have the app is that they update it with new features. For example they now have a serve mode that hears when you...
