From my experience (I own two of both blades, both MJ zlc are with the old design), the Mizutani ZLC is more bouncy than the sZLC and provides a bit more feedback. MJ sZLC's are heavier also (92+gr usually, even if I got one at 90gr).

I see no reason to chose anything other than the "1) Another Armstrong 322" for a backup blade. What is the advantage of having a different blade as a backup ? None. Disavantages ? Plenty but the more important one is : you have no backup blade, you just have a "new blade", not a "backup...

Basically any blade will pair well with T05. What is difficult to understand is that, for budget reasons, you pass from TB alc to allwood off- blades. The question is not if T05 will pair well with Stratus powerwood or Primorac off- : it obviously will pair well. The question is : what to you...
