When the game or especially one point lasted too short it was bad for the show. So ITTF implemented plastic balls to make the game last longer. But when it lasts too long it's also bad and umpires stop the game.. ITTF goes to the dogs...

What?! That's nonsense! Players would start training services to make every ball hit the net and fall on the opponents side. I think that it wouldn't be a big problem if you spent 8 hours daily training.
