Watching these legends play evokes amazement but at the same time a little bit of sadness in me. Their talent is still obvious, but as the bible says, "The spirit is willing but the flesh is weak."

Been a lurker for some time here, but seeing kababayans prompted me to post. I'm also from the Philippines, specifically form Baguio. I'd say the table tennis scene in the Philippines is still playing catch up to other sports like badminton. Hopefully this will change gradually.
