Rise of the left handers. I wonder if the margins at top level are starting to become so small that the advantage of being left handed is what's pushing these guys over the edge. Half the top6 being left handed while they're only 10% of the general population certainly says something

Awesome match. Sora once again clutch when it matters. And Elias showcasing great tactics, as well as big improvement in overall playing strength even though he's closing in on 30yo

Sora is starting to build some serious mental resilience, if he keeps it up he might become unstoppable

Never seen this TTR implemetation before. Anyone know the rules here? How many % are you allowed to hide?

I think he used to be pretty immature and outright rude at times, but nowadays I have to respect his drive to win. He usually doesn't take it too far anymore and is just really good at taking control of the mental battle, especially during 7 setters

Great fight from Sidorenko, but ever since I saw Matsushima win the japanese championship at 17yo I've just been waiting for him to finally bring one of the big ones home. The most incredible young player I've seen since FZD

Truls not making any mistakes, even while pulling out the agressive backhands vs heavy pushes and being able to stand up to a player like Jang in loop rallies. Scary stuff

Glad to see lim Jonghoon back in form in singles, great backhand to watch

He's very young to be put in this spot because of Fans early exit from the team, not easy with his style still in development. All that said Shidong is the worst top2 player they've had in over 30 years

China hasn't lost a single match in 26 years. This being the streak ender is definitely anticlimactic. Beating China should be a crowning achievement for any team, these pointless group matches are just a buzzkill

China hasn't lost a team match in 26 years right? This would be a pretty goofy match to end that streak, as sk would still end 3rd in the group even if they beat china. Whole playing system is pretty stupid

If this can be ruled as "Ball not hidden" then the rules need to be changed.

Beating his biggest roadblock like that in the world cup semis at 18yo, wow. It feels just like when FZD was on the rise and destroying everyone as a teenager. But Sora is luckier, he doesn't have to worry about beating Ma Long

no one else has ever played like that and made it to the top, sora is just insane when he's on

Of course it remains to be seen if he'll actually play
