  1. What is this black spot on my rubber?

dirt, can be cleaned, nothing unusual
  2. Tibhar Hybrid MK PRO

The MKpro is more for close to the table, there are better rubbers for away from the table...
  3. Which Butterfly Blade for Offensive Play with Rozena

The thread appear as a proposal, I did not realise how old it was, I thought it belonged to the latest threads, my fault...
  4. Which Butterfly Blade for Offensive Play with Rozena

If you cannot get spin with a Korbel, there is something wrong with your technique and carbon will not help. Or you have wrong rubbers - a tacky hybrid like RakzaZ is impossible not to spin...
  5. Recommendation: Three different setups (Primorac, Innerforce ALC, Viscaria) for which player?

I would not recommend anything below that 43 degrees even for a recreational player. That is overcompensating the blade - do not go for outer carbon if you have to use 38d... Setup No. 2 makes most sense for an offensive developing player, inner carbon touch, not too soft. No. 3 - why would...
  6. Tibhar Hybrid MK PRO

I do not see the MKpro as a replacement for a tacky hybrid rubber for FH, but rather as a do-it-all BH rubber. Tacky is tacky - when serving, pushing or playing an opening spinny loop, tacky is the best. If you do not want to play a tacky rubber, this is as close as you can get with MKpro, with...
  7. hybrid rubbers for backhand

MKpro - it is not sticky but is a hybrid - inbetween sticky and ESN rubbers - has the best of both worlds. Thanks to its versatility it is very good both for flat hitting/blocking and spinning and can be played with short strokes but does not mind long strokes - an ideal rubber for BH, not too...
  8. Hybrid rubbers how close to Tacky Chinese or Grippy ESN spring sponge?

Interesting notice - can you compare Codexx EL Pro 52 to Rakza Z in terms of hardness and feel and speed? - I/and everybody else who has tried it in our club/ find the normal Rakza Z to feel "relatively soft", easy to play, spinny, but lacking speed. Is the Codexx EL Pro 52 similar but slightly...
  9. Defense with penhold?

You can put a long pip on the RPB side and do some really good chopping with it while maintaining the FH topspin and BH punch, there should be some videos on youtube.
  10. Dynaryz ZGR vs Rhyzen ZGR?

The ZGX is not a good BH rubber - it is too springy/sensitive when pushing or blocking. I think it is mainly due to the long thin pimples. Dynaryz ZGR can slow down the game "like Friendship 729" when you do not need speed - serving, pushing, passive blocking, slow topspin. But it can get...
  11. Tibhar Hybrid MK PRO

I have the MK Pro already, could not resist, but will be able to play it in two days.
  12. Tibhar Hybrid MK PRO

The temperature is a given fact - I have to play in cold conditions. I cannot influence it, it is even OK for me, but the hard 50+ degree mildly tacky rubbers do not play well when cold. Therefore I am looking for something more compatible with cold without going in a completely different...
  13. Tibhar Hybrid MK PRO

Is the MK Pro a good substitution for hard mildly tacky hybrid rubbers? The main concern is the topspin - it should allow both a slow spinny loop against backspin and block, a fast finishing loop and a drive. I have the Dynaryz ZGR - it does not pair well with my primary blade - Persson...
  14. Butterfly Grubba Carbon FL question

It is OK, but I would get a Korbel which is great for improving and feeling the ball. The Grubba Carbon has one more downside - you will not find a similar blade when you will want to upgrade... maybe a Gionis Off, but that is heavier and discontinued as well.
  15. Primorac Carbon & Rozena

Primorac has a thick Hinoki outer ply, so it should have a different feeling than other fast hard blades. There are some players who play it and use slower thinner rubbers - Hinoki Carbon has a lot of catapult, the combination may actually work.
