  1. Butterfly Zyre 03

At the top end, it does get alot of spin which i feel is comparable to H3. However its the lower end when you get a float ball or neutral ball where I feel it is much harder to return the ball with a good spin or speed compared to H3. When the ball coming to you does not have much spin or...
  2. United States Smash 2026, Los Angeles, 6/26-7/5

He seems rather tall But he stays so close To the table and does not get jammed. Not sure how he can hit so hard considering
  3. United States Smash 2026, Los Angeles, 6/26-7/5

He only wants to play lefties. This one a kid but lefty. Well it’s early days. Only 2 sets. Maybe there’s time
  4. United States Smash 2026, Los Angeles, 6/26-7/5

Ag Totally agree. Like in long jump, the line is there but many jumpers do not go anywhere near that line leaving around 20cm gap usually. If they try to get close to it then a touch on that line means that jump Is disqualified. It used to be some plastercine line and disqualification...
  5. United States Smash 2026, Los Angeles, 6/26-7/5

No the current ttr system Can already do this. It supposedly uses ai with the camera to show the ball flight as what the receiver would see. There has been a few ttr call for this. How “accurate” This is the only thing really Unknown. But it applies to All calls so it is fair i suppose
  6. United States Smash 2026, Los Angeles, 6/26-7/5

They can probably do it now on all infinity arena since TTR is already installed. So perhaps start automating it on smash when games are in the infinity arena as all the tops seeds play there. In soccer the offside VAR is already almost fully automated. The question is if a none vertical toss...
  7. United States Smash 2026, Los Angeles, 6/26-7/5

I am sure pretty soon this will be automated and all points Won on serves will Be automatically checked for toss angle. Makes sense if they can do that automatically. In soccer all goals scored is checked for offside.
  8. United States Smash 2026, Los Angeles, 6/26-7/5

There is a cut off and in this case it’s 30. If you say 30.04 is ok. Then what about 30.05? It’s another 0.01? Or 30.07? If there is no cut point when will it ever but called illegal?
  9. WTT Star Contender Ljubljana 2026 June 16-21

He twiddled to the red rubber on a high ball to do a hook topspin to dang wide forehand. I would guess the red rubber is d09c which is his backhand
  10. WTT Star Contender Ljubljana 2026 June 16-21

Do you know if he has this on both sides like it’s indicated on butterfly website or one side is d09c? Coz he definitely changed to smash with his red rubber in one of the points in the 5th set with Dang Qiu
  11. Places I can play in SIngapore

Unfortunately that’s how things are here. There are community Centers where you can walk in and play. But these are covered but non aircon areas where There are winds sometimes. There are some nightly meets where for a small fee you can get to play a group game where the top 2 advance to...

So what happens to the ball when players with long pips does some “boosting?” So that their pips is actually almost slippery like anti spin? More and more player seem to be doing this recently where I am playing
  14. TT11 Blind Rubber Test

It’s a strange rubber. I somewhat agree that it does not feel as hard as it is suppose to feel at 44 degree. When I tried d05 I always thought it felt hard. And zyre on a 5/7 ply wood blade Does feel slow then say a t05 on the same wood blade.
