  1. DHS Hurricane 301?

I've sealed with the regular wood varnish spray up on arrival. Just a light coat on both sides. As I've not played with the blade before and after varnish, cannot differentiate the feeling. It has been almost 8 months since I owned the blade, and been changing the rubbers quite often (I guess...
  2. Dwell Time .....

@AmiciSumus my say on dwell time, comparing Yinhe T11+ and Stiga allround classic blades: I used Hurricane 3 neo on T11+ on FH, typical tacky chinese rubber meant for top-spin play. However, seems like it didn't matter as the blade was too stiff , light to begin with. And the worst part was...

  4. Pro Players Not Using Grip Tape

My experience tells me that grip tape goes better with all wood / ALC blades with more dwell time. It would lessen the vibration to a certain extent , retaining enough feeling in the game. Ofcourse, the feeling might change with the rubber used. I use grip tape on my H301. Initial reason was...
  5. Which balls are used internationally?

Exactly what I think. DHS D40+ are much better in every aspect over Nittaku. USATT should be more flexible in considering DHS D40's in the tournaments. Due to this vague reason, many people over at the club refuses to play with D40. I've Butterfly A40 and played with them. Much lighter, better...
  6. Design your custom blade and Build it here!

Do you also make blades similar to Darker Speed 90? Its a single ply kiso hinoki.
  7. Amazed by the low weight of the Palio AK74 rubbers... wow.

Well, not exactly. But they does not feel like they lack power during top-spin play. I've tried all Blue,Yellow, RED Ak47's. Out of which, I felt Red has more speed while the blue is the softest and spiniest. All these rubbers feels like somewhere between Xiom vega Japan(Med-tensor) and Yasaka...
  8. World Rankings by forum members

Xu ruifeng - unorthodox player, loads of entertainment value
  9. Can I replace the rubbers on this pre-built combo?

I’ve tried removing rubbers from stiga carbo7 premade setup. I just couldn’t with factory glue being so hard to have the rubber detached from the blade. I left it as is. Like everyone suggested, buy a good all wood from yinhe and go with palio ak47 on both sides
  10. LF: Koto - Ayous - Kiri - Ayous - Koto Blade in OFF speed

Hello chintan, DHS H301. Period! more info on plies- https://www.tabletennisdaily.com/equipment/blades/16662-hurricane-301 Given its ply structure, it has lot of flex. I've been using it for almost 5 months. Who ever using it, marked this blade as much better alternative to Butterfly...
  11. Jeoung Younksik Unorthodox FH and BH strokes

I also find Thomas Keinath playstyle very intriguing as well. Its like watching 8-bit Mario playing table tennis in real-life.
  12. Jeoung Younksik Unorthodox FH and BH strokes

True! Chinese version of Kokinawa :)
  13. Jeoung Younksik Unorthodox FH and BH strokes

Talking about unorthodox players, reminds me of Xu ruifeng. Chinese player, once unranked, recently won on Xu Xin. His play is very relaxed and unpredictable.
  14. Reliable table tennis shops on Aliexpress

I do face issues with shipping at times from Ali. Either it would wait at China deporting center or would sit in California/Vegas processing center for a while. I've once sent an email to USPS postmaster asking for the reason why my package has been sitting at the U.S domestic processing center...
  15. What's the cheapest euro-style tensor rubber?

Palio AK47 Red for FH, AK47 for BH. Ultra cheap chinese made euro style rubber. Completely non tacky. Best bang for the buck, period!
