For me its like b2 gold. Volant 1 is more easy to play, battle 2 gold has more quality top sheet. Speed: VP1>H3N, spin: VP1<H3N. Easy to play: Arthur China(rxton 7) > VP1. It is cheap rubber, it is not replacement H3prov or D09c. I play only VP1 with purple and blue sponges.

The best version is Volant Phoneix 1 in red(purple sponge) with 1-2 layers of booster
