  1. New Stiga blades: Luma and i1

Is it out already? I'm also waiting for its release
  2. New Hugo rubbers from Joola

Is the Dynamic Max thickness bouncy? I plan to try Dynamic on BH and not sure whether to use Max or 2.0, though I'm going to use inner carbon blade with it. The reviews I found on youtube / bilibili use outer carbon blades where some say it's bouncy and others say it's just okay. My experience...
  3. NEW Stiga Helix Hybrid ?

So I take it the Helix Hybrid will use the same topsheet as DNA Hybrid just with Helix's sponge, right? Can anyone confirm whether Hybrid's topsheet is tackier / more sticky than Dragon (Grip/Power)'s topsheet? I sometimes play with my 2nd setup using Dragon Power 55 on Wavy but feel that the...
  4. Best Chinese sticky rubbers that don't need boosting

Anyone here has tried both B3 purple and H8-20 and can compare between the 2? I've been using the B3 for a month+ now on BH and I personally feel it is quite nice. I'm using my BH offensively and it is stronger than my FH. I've been playing daily for 2-3 hours in average the past month and I...
  5. Light paddle vs heavy paddle

to me, the weight balance influences more than the actual weight. My setups are 190g++ with double chinese rubbers, so they tend to be head heavy. when I added 6g of lead tape on the end of the handle, it feels so much different! makes FH/BH transition much smoother
  6. Best Chinese sticky rubbers that don't need boosting

I just bought H8-80 and found that it has reverse dome. Can anyone confirm whether it's normal or not? I bought 37 degree but when I tried to measure with shore O durometer it showed 50-51 degree 😵
  7. Best Chinese sticky rubbers that don't need boosting

Had a look at 729's store on Taobao and I didn't find 38 degrees listed. It checks out with boartennis's report. Was interested in putting it on BH...
  8. Calderano Signs with Joola (#139)

Waiting for the spill for the blades and rubbers! I might be inclined to buy Hugo's blade if the blade is manufactured by the same Korean factory that made ZQH's blade
  9. DHS Hurricane 8-20 provincial is available in China

Have you played some more with 8-80 / 8-20? How do you feel the 2 compare now? Want to try H8 for BH on my backup blade but still undecided which sponge should I choose. I'm going to boost it
  10. Sleeping after a late TT session

try taking some magnesium glycinate. magnesium in general helps relax your body, regulates your hormone, and boosts muscle function and recovery. for this specific case, magnesium can help decrease your stress hormone cortisol and increase melatonin that is related with sleep/wake cycle. I...
  11. DHS fans unite!

My first time trying out National BS and boy I've never had a rubber this tacky! Provincial BS I used a year ago and some other chinese rubbers I've used (Rxton 9, Arthur China, Battle II Nat, Battle III) didn't even come close to this. It was also such a bliss to hear that counterlooping sound...
  12. Experience with some other Loki rubbers - Arthur China, GTX Pro (inc)

Boosting as per usual? 2 layers of JieChi? Did you or will you weigh them?
  13. China Smash 2025

Wasn't he faulted first? then challenged it so the point won't go to WCQ. The refs are really quick to call serve faults now. Did you see the challenge Karlsson did againt LSD? I initially thought he was using TTR to challenge his serve that went out of bounds. Turns out he was faulted in the...
  14. Experience with some other Loki rubbers - Arthur China, GTX Pro (inc)

are you going to test Telson China for FH or BH? been eyeing V15 sticky for a while now for BH, and since Telson China has 52,5 degree, I'm really looking forward to the impression on the rubber.
  15. Tips to Restore Tackiness

Okay thanks guys. I'll be back using water to clean then. Let's see if the tack returns. I've actually been using plastic foils already, but I guess the cleaner makes the rubber surface a bit oily and thus hides the tacky feature.
