I just can tell you about the Fextra and the Infinity because I had both. Infinity is supposed to be a better choice, but I had really good feelings with the Fextra with Xiom Vega rubbers on both sides. A club mate tried my Fextra and he was amazed, so he asked me if I was interested to sell him...
I agree with yogi_bear, Sanwei Fextra is a very nice blade, you can get it new for around 20 bucks. But if you want to spend more, Stiga Infinity is also nice (I still have mine). Check also out other classic like Butterfly Petr Korbel.
But well, it's not a matter of which is the best blade...
Hi there,
our club based in Spain is about to get some new nets for our training sessions. We buy our equipment online so there's no possibility to check any item first. We don't mind if it's clip or clamp fixing but it has to be good quality. As these will be mainly for training sessions we...
Hi there,
I'm looking for spare parts for some of our club nets. We've different brands and models and we need to repair some of them.
Our club is based in Spain and I wonder where we could get spare parts such as metallic net clips (not the black plastic crap ones), either the chain or the...
Hi folks,
I usually play with a Stiga Infinity but want to change my blade. My coach let me tried his Nittaku Acoustic Carbon with the rubbers I usually use (Yasaka Rakza 7 and Donic Bluefire M2), and I really noticed a big difference compared to the Infinity: Way more speed and way more...
Many thanks for the review, yogi_bear.
I'm into buying a new blade and I wonder how the Nobilis would be compared to the Nittaku Acoustic Carbon. My coach let my tried his Acoustic C. and I really liked the general feeling (I usually play with a Stiga Infinity VPS) but someone told me about the...
I just read Stiga Nostalgic series have solid Wenge handle. I just ordered a Sanwei Dynamo blade (yes, I'm starting to be a Sanwei fan) which has also outer wenge layers, to give it a try. But the Nostalgic VII looks very attractive to me...
That's a good question. I own an Infinity and can't deal with the hollow feel and sound. I thought WRB was the hollow handle option but Infinity has definitely hollow handle and so far as I know Stiga Ebenholz as well. I'm not sure, but I think this hollow thing is a kind off hallmark of Stiga...
Thank you very much for your post, AMonteiro. What you say about the different hardness in the same blade model is something to bear in mind. So these blades may vary from one to other, if I decide to go for one I'd be lucky or not.
Hmmm...
