  1. Medium Pips. I need recommendations

Update: I tested the Dawei 388 C1 (1.2 mm sponge) medium pips on the DHS 08X Classic, Victas Ni Xia Lian The Legend blade (also known as the Victas Swat), and the 729 Green Goblin Ebony 7 blade. DHS 08X Classic The DHS 08X Classic with medium pips is good for close-to-the-table blocking...
  2. Medium Pips. I need recommendations

Totally wrong thought process. Its your blade which you need to change. For medium pips like dawei 388 c1 1.0mm sponge you will need a hard wood blade with high feed back like with walnut outter or similar.anything with balsa outter with inner carbon will have very mushy feeling. I have been...
  3. DHS fans unite!

You need to pair G666 on FH of a very fast blades and you get insane spin and control monster setup. But do not make the mistake of pairing this rubber with an all-round or defensive blades. For me G666 on my xiom icream azxi pro on ALC side (inner carbon) and on my Butterfly FZD ALc (outter...
  4. Is there a very spinny rubber with good control?

DHS G666 slow and more spinner than H3 and control is very high. pair this with a super fast blade and you get a deadly combo for beginner and intermediate players. I use this with Xiom Icecream AZXi Pro or ALC end.
  5. Xiom Ice Cream AZX, AZX i - rubbers that will fit excellent

I own azxi pro. On Alc side iam using Rising dragon 2 or DHS G666 this gives high control for my game. For BH on ALZ side I use SP Spectol S1. Note : G666 is a slow soft but highly underrated spinny tacky rubber DHS has ever produced. Its on par if not better than H3 in terms of spin...
  6. Victas Koki Niwa Wood

Stiga offensive Classic WRB (5ply) CPEN Victas KokiNaiwa wood (7Ply) CPEN Andro Timber Off/S (7ply) - FL Xiom AZXi pro (5ply to ALZ + ALC)- FL Nittaku Tsubbudaka (5ply) - CPEN Stiga Defence Classic (5ply) - CPEN DHS H301 ALC (5+2ply) - CPEN every single time when i am in trouble or not...
  7. Carbon blade for long pips

DHS301 has very very thin ALC layer and because of this has high dwell and you can chop with rubbers like Grass.
  8. Carbon blade for long pips

Get any 7 ply off+ blade which will give high dwell time.
  9. Best racket case?

Now, i have switched from my daughter's lunch box to padded camera sling bags.. !! :)
  10. Share pics of your penhold grip: rpb, tpb, jpen, pimples twiddling etc

Sanwei has come up with a innovative handle specifically for RPB players. Its called "Sanwei Su Style". and they confirmed they can fit this handle on any of their blades upon request for just 10$. See if the "Su Style" handle works for you. I have not personally used it. i came to know of this...
  11. Best racket case?

Tell him this hack he would love it. I use my daughters old lunch bags. Make sure its atleast 30cm×20cm
  12. Best racket case?

Try this hack if you want to carry 4 to 6 or more rackets like a boss. Well if you are blade junky like me and own 4 to 8 Rackers and want to carry them, i figured insulated lunch bags are very good option and damn cheap. These lunch bags are adequate to carry upto 6 rackets or more, as well...
  13. Rubber with Soft Grippy topsheet

I too was looking for same combination for soft high grippy topspin as well which will help me chop on FH confidently. My search ended with Yasaka Rising Dragon (Black max sponge). Its highly grippy and generates insane spins and as well the throw is linear and iam able to chop and block...
  14. Yasaka Rising Dragon vs Chinese tacky rubbers

Rising Dragon is amazing rubber, currently iam using it on my FH. You need to actively keep cleaning the surface and you will get insane spin and control over it. I have paired this with 7 ply blades (Victas Koki Naiwa Wood and Andrew Timber 7 ply off/s and as well on DHS 301 ALC). I can do...
  15. Can anybody recommend a blade that is both controllable at the table and fast further from the table?

Try Victas KokiNaiwa wood or ALC version. For me its the most control and awesome feel blade available that money can buy. I may be wrong.
