Sanwei Echo is a surprisingly solid 5-ply for the price. It's not fast though, so he may grow out of it fairly quick. If so though, you're not out much.

Yeah, I am planning on buying some soon because I really want to try it. I was initially looking to replace my R7 on FH with G-1, but Tronix ACC has really caught my attention. I was hesitant for a bit with the uncertainty in the future availability, but honestly my rate of play is fairly low...

I'm still disappointed that the Tronix rubbers are no longer listed. However, I am interested to hear about the Trinity Hybrid.

That's a good point. If the reported prices are correct, these would be half the price of the Santorus.

How would you compare the feel and play of two Joola blades? They are both Limba-Ayous, but Joola's own ratings make it seem like the Guardian would be much faster.

That's great news! The other two Trio are stellar, underrated blades. However, doesn't "an all wood blade, but with a clearly more offensive character than Echo and Parla" just describe the Fextra? I'm curious to see what will be different there.

Great review! In my mind, I was assuming this would be close to Rakza 7. However, with the rubbers you compared Rhyzen Fire to, it seems like Rakza 7 might still be faster and have more catapult. Have you ever played with Rakza ?
