  1. Best Chinese Alternatives to D09c Tier List

Also another point, I put the GTX away for 2 years and glued it on again. I found that the catapult was still very good so I was expecting great things. But when I went to loop with it, it was back to the old problem of having no dwell time and too much speed. The baby oil effect was totally...
  2. Picked up my paddle after 12 years… and now there’s dignics!?

Honestly glayzer is pretty bad. I would go with dignics if u dont mind the cost. But there are many rubbers on market now.
  3. How well do stuor/lemuria clones compare to the real versions and how good is their quality/longevity?

I think it's reasonably close. If you are very demanding, then you shouldn't try. If there is a somewhat wide range of acceptable outcomes for you, then I think you will be pleased. For example, I have 2 Stuor Harimoto ZLC clones. 1 is very fast and crisp and catchy. I think it really is...
  4. Best rubber under $5?

I found this funny review of Kokutaku rubber. They seem to think it works quite well for backhand. They seem to think the rubber is quite soft. Speed seems to be somewhat medium
  5. What rubber is this?

I finally got to test the 25 year old rubber after boosting. The speed is medium. The booster actually did seem to restore the rubber elasticity maybe 80% of the way. I was able to hit some pretty good loops. The throw angle seems better, and the arc seems better. It still seems like it...
  6. Best Chinese Alternatives to D09c Tier List

I'm not sure. It is very tacky. But you have to hit incredibly hard to engage the sponge. I think Double Fish Volant is better.
  7. Best Chinese Alternatives to D09c Tier List

I tested out the Nittaku H3 Pro Blue today on a friend's racket. It is the hardest rubber that I have ever played with. Even harder than Triple Double Extra. Its also pretty slow, not a lot of rebound.
  8. M Star Green Sponge?

Whats the difference between green sponge and orange sponge?
  9. DHS Goldarc 9 is now available

    Regular boosted H8 is better
  10. M Star Green Sponge?

Looks pretty cool. Maybe @Cadoia should get it and try it out
  11. DHS Goldarc 9 is now available

I think its untacky version of H8-80. Shark Speed comes to mind as comparable

  13. Best Chinese Alternatives to D09c Tier List

This is my recommendation: 1) glue/Cut and play with the rubber unboosted. For me personally, the rubber had decent speed, but felt hard and weird 2) Add 1 layer of Chinese booster, like seamoon and wait 6-8 hours directly onto the sponge with glue on it. My guess is it would curl about 45...
  14. ALC vs ZLC

Well I personally think that the overall construction/thickness of the blade plays a much bigger part than the specific wood-type or the carbon type.
