  1. Calderano and his new equipment

That's what you said, isn't it? Both joola and xiom rubbers are from ESN, so there's little change. As if companies just put their name on ESN rubbers without doing their own actual R&D and testing.
  2. Calderano and his new equipment

Ok when's my first day at joola? :p
  3. Calderano and his new equipment

So you're saying all ADK blades and all ESN rubbers are all literally the same?
  4. What happened to Joola Tronix rubbers?

Has the discussion come to a conclusion yet?
  5. Different Hurricane results based on boosting procedure

Depends on the quality tier of your rubber as well, if you get the commercial version of blue sponge national you're still f'd
  6. New Stiga blades: Luma and i1

I have a Vis that's probably the closest
  7. Different Hurricane results based on boosting procedure

I'm not sure but if a hyperbaric environment can boost a rubber by pumping air into the sponge, I think it would be possible that a hypobaric environment could draw the air out of the sponge
  8. Different Hurricane results based on boosting procedure

I think that might be dangerous. There is a possibility the vacuum would draw air out of the sponge bubbles and make it collapse. Since the spinart hyperbaric chamber can boost an old dignics back to 90% with nothing but pressurized air, drawing a vacuum could permanently damage the rubber.

Maybe one day I will test this theory :ROFLMAO:
  10. Different Hurricane results based on boosting procedure

That doesn't sound very pleasant and I don't feel like dumping 50 usd to test this hypothesis, sorry
  11. Different Hurricane results based on boosting procedure

In my opinion, as long as you removed the film once before gluing, the built-in tension would be released, and the surface would be protected during the boosting as well. I guess there could be a possibility that the surface wouldn't be as well stretched as boosting without the film, but I don't...
  12. Different Hurricane results based on boosting procedure

No I don't, maybe next time when I finish the OS 41 on my luma, but I think I'm set on my boosting method, don't think I'll try something new
  13. Different Hurricane results based on boosting procedure

And to be honest, I think doing it this way helps protect the rubber surface against oxidization and allows the stretching of the top sheet, kind of like the best of both worlds. You can tell how much the top sheet stretched if you put the protecting film back on.

I'm not proving anything I'm just sharing my results
