  1. Zyre 03 Rubber Review with Dimitrij Ovtcharov!

Of course it’s not the market version, it will be the exact sponge hardness that he wants and then it will be heavily boosted with some top pros getting further customisations.
  2. Zyre 03 Rubber Review with Dimitrij Ovtcharov!

Switching to and adapting to a new rubber takes a lot of time for some players that are very used to something else. I think that it will take at least a year if not longer for him to feel fully comfortable with it if he sticks to it.
  3. Zyre 03 Rubber Review with Dimitrij Ovtcharov!

I don't think that to be the case.
  4. Butterfly vs Mizuno shoes

Yes I also experienced similar problems with my Lezoline Riffones, only the tear in the material was in a different location and some of the stitching also tore/become undone. This happened over about a year and half of use and I was also training around the 10 hours a week mark. However I did a...
  5. Butterfly vs Mizuno shoes

I have all of them apart from the wave medal SP5, one of my friends has also tried all of the aforementioned and mains his SP5s because they have the most grip, comfort and and cushioning and suit his wider feet but they’re also heavier and have a softer feeling which is why I won’t get them.
  6. Butterfly vs Mizuno shoes

Levalis cushioning is definitely better than the Mizuno Wave Drive but not a lot better and I definitely wouldn’t say that they’re wider than the Riffones. If you want a nice shoe with a lot of cushioning for bigger feat then I would recommend the Mizuno Wave Medal SP5 or the Butterfly Lezoline...
  7. Butterfly vs Mizuno shoes

They have a harder soles, are more rigid and have more support but also have less cushioning and are slightly less comfortable for the above reasons.
  8. What's the natural upgrade from G1 and C1?

Any other modern European or Japanese rubber would already be an upgrade in performance because FastArc G1 isn’t factory boosted and therefore doesn’t have any speed glue effect. If you want to stick to the same hardness range then Tenergy 05 would be the spiniest as well as the most durable...
  9. Is there such as a thing as a brand new "dead" rubber?

If it looks identical then it’s real, you can always tell a fake from a real one if you have the rubber in hand. In China you can get it for about 400 Yuan from the big table tennis Taobao sellers and that’s genuine. In Japan it’s even cheaper at 6670 yen.
  10. Is there such as a thing as a brand new "dead" rubber?

Yeah that’s definitely true but the only way to be certain of the quality is to do the importing for yourself in bulk to spread the shipping cost. This tacky Tenergy 05 with a film is a Taobao/Xiaohongshu fake that you can get for very cheap (around 55 yuan).
  11. Is there such as a thing as a brand new "dead" rubber?

I know it’s an old thread but I grey import Tenergy/Dignics myself as well as other blades and rubbers from Japan from Amazon.co.jp and because their market is so much larger than ours I know that I get much fresher and better stock compared to if I buy from an authorised dealer locally, not...
  12. Boosting European rubbers

Yes it is viable but it has the same issues as boosting Hurricane 3, once the booster wears out in 2 weeks time (the feeling is the best and strongest in the first 7-10 days) the feeling gets considerably worse and continues to worsen for the next few weeks after which the rubber feels...
  13. Stiga Clipper Wood Chinese (or budget) rubbers advice

I know it’s an old thread but the opposite is true, the clipper is horrible with harder rubbers. It makes them feel like bricks, even with some that are only medium hard like Tenergy 05. A good Chinese player that I know tried it with boosted Hurricane 3 blue sponge and was trying to sell it the...
  14. Butterfly vs Mizuno shoes

Butterfly shoes are a lot gripper and have better performance and stability whereas the Mizuno shoes last longer but aren’t as good.
