Yinhe Saturn S1 is a new contender here, I'll let you know how it feels when I've glued it in a few weeks time. It's going to replace Big Dipper 5.

I'm 54 and have not been playing for long, so I've been using a Palio R57 at 75 grams for the training sessions after the summer break. It seems better than the Yasaka Sweden Extra that I used from april to July. It's not as fast as an outer carbon blade though.

I didn't like the topsheet of the Moon 12 M- when I tested last week on the backhand. I will try it on the forehand next week.

I think I would like to try this rubber, I just wonder how hard the M+ and the H- is supposed to be? Edit perhaps it's something like 37°and 39° DHS.

It did indeed feel very dead, and I think that I had developed a BH-technique with the BD V 39 where I brushed very much and that didn't work with the Moon 12 blue so I need to hit more direct.

The 39 is very hard for backhand use, I just changed to Moon Blue 12 medium-, but I must admit that I didn't like it much in the first test. I guess I'll try the Hurricane 8-80 next.

I'm contemplating a short pip forehand too and these threads seem to have the same answers. So you can add Spinlord Waran, Friendship 802 SP and Friendship 802-40 (Mystery III) and Yinhe Saturn Pro. The Friendship ones seems to be the default recommendation. ttdd.de have some rather detailed...
