Did you buy it already? Do you trust the seller? Is it an online store or a person? Sometimes when a blade like a Viscaria is priced so low the price is hard to believe, it is worth doing your due diligence to make it isn't a counterfeit.

I always thought that part of the site was kind of silly. And I think it is simple to say that you guys both offer something valuable to the forum. The forum would be dull without the two of you.

It is funny though, in my notifications there were a bunch of posts I made in 2015 that were liked today. Who was hitting the "like" button on posts from 2015? :) It was one of you and he isn't on the moderation team. :)

I have a feeling he may have been joking since he hit a laugh button for the comment. I could be wrong....but...I think it was a joke since I was trying to be vague and not directly name anyone. Oh, wait, it was someone else who hit the laugh button. So....who knows. I did not name anyone...

Lately I have been around trying to get new moderators up to speed on how some of the tools mods have work. But I am still too busy to be on here much.

So when FZD was not sponsored by DHS or Butterfly and WAS sponsored by Stiga and Stiga said he was using Stiga rubbers and blade but he was using a Butterfly blade, a Butterfly rubber on BH and a DHS rubber on FH and NO EQUIPMENT made by Stiga? And Dima, when he was sponsored by Donic was not...

You mean like when FZD was sponsored by Stiga and using a Viscaria with a Stiga handle with H3 on FH and a Butterfly rubber on BH? Or when Dima O was sponsored by Donic and using Butterfly rubbers and would always completely hide the handle and edges of his blade? :) There are many more...

Both matter to some extent. I can see that some people may feel the blade matters more and others feel the rubbers matter more. But often, if you are using something and take the time to get used to it, whatever the equipment, you will learn how to grove your game with whatever you are using...

But in the context of using a setup that HAS GOOD FEELING, the issue is not how you touch the ball but how the equipment FEELS. Just think about the context and the difference between talking about a player's feeling for the game and how that is different from how a setup feels.

Yeah. Sometimes you have to accept that you can only do what you can. And, in the end, it is most important to enjoy the game while you are playing it or training. Training can be just with a partner of similar level. It does not have to mean training with a coach: I know that I did not mean...

I would call what you are talking about touch. But yeah. Being in sync with how you touch the ball (having feeling for the game on a given day) is important at any level. But when someone is talking about how the setup they are using feels, or whether the setup has good feeling, I don't think...

Feel is important when you are learning how to touch the ball and are just developing those skills of learning how to make deep or thin to contact on different kinds of shots and when to use each. When you are skilled and know how to do that, and have a sense for when different touch is going...

I did get support and recognition. Dan has been great with me. I just really don't have time these days and I feel the forum deserves a little bit of looking after because, without any moderation things do go off the rails a bit.
