honeymoon phase definitely over, still on the blade. didn't use it on HAL, though, I use it on Freitas ALC and it is an amazing combo! I find Rakza 7 Hard basically less bouncy Dignics 05. so worlds apart in comparison to D09c. but - I did struggle with D05 on HAL as D05 is one dwelly rubber...

honestly, very very hard to say, it’s been awhile since I last played with regular R7 and also on a much different blade … but I would say it’s somewhat same as D05, which is high and also my colleague said it felt quite high as he tried the blade, but liked it.

sorry, I think I created a bit of a stir, there was an idea to put some evidence to backup my word, but somehow I was a bit busy, then went on a holiday and forgot about the pics and when I actually wanted to find the pics realised I deleted the raw photos and kept just the jpegs ... so ... but...

to be completely honest - went dow that road and the closest thing is - Hurricane 8. ESN doesn't come close. Vega China - good rubber, but nothing, absolutely nothing close or similar to H3 ... Rakza Z - really? it's not even on the same planet, not even same universe. yes, tacky, playability...

is this your "practice" serve or real serve? because, man ... this is not okay, easily attackable. also - try to find someone who can really play real, quality pushes. this is ... no disrespect to the gentleman, he is actually playing very well for the age, but yeah ... these are easy balls...

I think it’s even SAL, not HAL. 😉 unforced errors could be due to rubbers, if they are actually Joola’s.

I took that about rubbers with a pinch of salt, but the blade is 100% still HAL (I even claim it’s SAL) … or, even because it is made in Korea, it’s just a rebranded HAL/SAL (which I don’t blame you, half of the blades on the market are like that) … but I know, as a former pro table tennis...

well … I did shoot Star Contender in Ljubljana, and did some sniffing around the blades … Dima, that blade isn’t inner, its normal ALC, at least it looks like that. Hugo, still uses HAL. from a very reliable source I learned that the rubbers he is using are still Xiom C57.5/C52.5, but sponge is...

is that good or bad? 🙈

do report on durability of the Helixes.

dwell time is a bit more pronounced but so far not night and day. also still trying to get the right rubber combo, now I changed rasanter c53 with D09c and will see next time I get to play …

yes.

I will say this as I did with Xiom Vega Pro Hybrid, where everyone tried to explain it was a slow rubber. yes, it was slow, when played nicely. but when adding power, it was fast. it gave you as much power as you invested. and same with Rakza Z. yes, there is a lot of difference between RZ and...

that's C2's biggest problem ... it doesn't last much ... at least my experience is like that ... 2-3 months and it was done. and at the time I played maybe twice a week, not full power. now I play 2-3 a week, full power as I am sparring partner in our club, trying to help kids progress but this...

very surprised about durability, maybe ESN did a step forward here ...
