I saw reviews on several websites saying that the Boosted GTX PRO has excellent performance and is comparable to 09C.
Normally I wouldn't believe it, but there were so many reviews that I decided to buy it.
I applied sea moon2 about three times, but there was no bounce at all.
So I applied two more coats, but there was not much difference and the grip was weaker.
Why does everyone say this is 09C?
To me, it feels no different from a control rubber.

Maybe you put too much, or maybe you didnt wait to dry?

Boosted GTX is amazing. So much power and spin and strong rebound

That's why everyone wants D09c and not loki GTX... ?
Dont get me wrong, I believe in reasonable close substitutes, but saying one rubber is gonna play exactly like another rubber is just not true. Booster can't do miracles.
Nobody claimed it was exactly the same as d09c. OP said that the rubber was told to him as 'comparable'.

In my opinion, it is comparable.

Its probably a bit faster, similar spin, harder, slightly tackier. So not exactly the same. But similar in function

I left it on for 12 hours after each application, which I think is plenty of time.
I switched from Presto Max Spin, and at first the ball flight was poor and it would often end up in the net.
Control is good, but that's about it.
Try again tomorrow or day after. It might not be dry yet.

I would normally wait 24 hours

I also put baby oil on mine and i felt that improved it. So you can try that if it still isnt working

one thing I learned through the last year of testing (I prefer to call it testing, instead of EJing :p ) - there might be similarity between rubbers of the same manufacturer, but not between different ones ...

I was looking for something close to D09c ... tried H8, boosted H8, H3N commercial and national, Yasaka Rakza Z, Yasaka Rising Dragon ... nothing came close, yes, H3N commercial came closest, but was still miles away ... so ... I went and bought D09c. the real thing. and that's it. unfortunately, there's no way around.

goes the same for H3N ...

Applying two layers of baby oil to the GTX definitely improved the feel at impact.
The ball's length and power are far inferior to the 09c, but the bite and spin are still at a sufficient level.
Maybe try another layer of booster or a different booster if you want to add power.

Compare a normal hurricane three (any version) to a boosted hurricane three. That, is a miracle.
