So, I now have both B2X-P and King ACB. These are 2 different blades with different feeling and playing characteristics.
DHS Fang Bo B2X-P
Comes in a simpler DHS box. 90 gr. The quality is okay but nothing special. The edges are sharp. The racket head is smaller than, say, that of Viscaria. The handle is short and thin. Head heavy, but not extremely, feels quite well balanced. Uses some yellow fiber + carbon. The top layer is said to be Koto, but it's neither the hardest Koto I've tried, nor the softest. I sealed it (because it's DHS).
Rubbers: Sanwei Target National 3, medium hard (black) + medium soft (red).
How it plays: It's an Off + blade. But the speed is there and easily achievable. Since the blade is not super fast on lighter shots, the arc is short. Excellent control. I'd say it's a fast attack + loop blade. It plays flat shots very well (drives, blocks). Plays very well close to the table: provokes using diagonals, quick blocks, quick flat shots especially on the backhand; counter-drives/loops at the peak of the bounce. There is this feeling of speed, even with the tacky rubbers. No complains about spin levels, though.
The blade feels a bit hollow inside. There isn't much vibration. There is a quite loud wooden sound on flat hits. So you rather hear that a shot has more impact than brushing, than feel it.
My overall impression is that it's fast, direct, attacking, robust, easy to play with.
// Despite being an inner carbon blade, it reminds me of some outer carbon blades (like Crazy Victory from 729 or Donic Skachkov Carbon).
DHS Hurricane King ACB
Comes in a more expensive DHS box. 91 gr. The build quality is excellent. The edges are sharp. The handle is larger, thicker and somewhat more rounded (not too big, though). Clearly more head heavy. The racket head is bigger than standard. Uses blue fiber (Arylate, probably) + carbon. The top layer is Koto, but it's very soft on touch. So soft that you feel the urge to seal the blade immediately.
Rubbers: Sanwei Target National 3, medium hard (black) + Sanwei Gear Hyper, medium hard (red).
How it plays: Off ++ blade. The arc is long. I can easily overshoot if I'm too close to the table. Excellent directional control (left or right). IMO, it's a loop only blade. I have no confidence in it if I play flat hits. It imparts a lot of spin when it touches the ball.
The blade feels solid inside; has way more feeling and feedback to your hand than B2X-P.
But ACB is a weird blade for me. It's fast but I don't get some compelling speed from it. It's powerful but not enough. Somewhat awkward on backhand shots for me. I feel it's more demanding to technique and physicality to unleash its full potential.
My overall impression is that it's for looping from a distance.
I'll keep playing with B2X-P for now. It seems fun and versatile.
