Upgrade of my setup - Rubbers and Blade

Hello everyone,

First topic here and I need your help. I am based in a city which doesn't have any shop to check blades rubbers etc. So only online.

Right now I have a Racket with FH: Donic Baracude, BH: Stiga APS Calibra Tour S and the blade is: Donic Persson Power AR

I don't play professionally, but I am part of a team and we are in a league in my country (Greece), training 4 times per week and I want to upgrade my setup after 2 years of use. I will travel to Cologne in some days so I saw that there are 2 shops with tabletennis staff. So my question is what you recommend as an upgrade?

To give you a briefly info for my style, I am good to FH spin and Rever Push (I play a lot with push both sides). I would like to have more control in BH as I think is more weak for me.
For the racket the one I have is light which I like, but I think if I go to the shops I can see more. I don't know the difference btw between them. Waiting for your replies. Thanks

You can try modern Japanese rubbers, such as Stiga Mantra line (-Pro M, -Control, -Sound) or Victas Swat Spin/Power. Nittaku will release the Blastac which could work aswell.
Why those rubbers? In my opinion they are not so sensitive to spin and have muted catapult. This works good for keeping the pushes controled, while still beeing capable to attack.

Blade should be fine.

The shops in cologne will most likely help you there and let you try some rubbers, maybe you prefer German made rubbers with stronger bounce more.

Dignics 09c is quite fast. If you are going to buy a new blade also. Then you cannot compare the blades if you also buy new rubbers. D09c is fast. If your backhand is weak the maybe also make sure the rubber thickness is not MAX. It can be 1,9mm. It will make the rubber easier to play with spin wise i believe. I have bought Tenergy 05 1,9mm for both bh and fh.

Victors recommendations aren't the only options of course but it does at least narrow things down a lot so it will avoid the inevitable plethora of suggestions you can end up with here and stop you from considering Dignics 09c for backhand!!!
Maybe add details about your age, fitness and playing level if asking questions and also a budget.
