DHS Hurricane Long 5 and andro Rasanter C53

so, as I gift I received the DHS Hurricane Long 5. at the beginning I glued on it Dignics09c and Donic Bluegrip C2. it was a nice combo, but for competition, the blade wouldn't be legal as the rubbers were quite small. I had some andro Rasanter C53 rubber and Nuzn 50, Rakza Z and Z Extra Hard ... so I decided to put on Rasanter C53 on FH and Nuzn 50 on BH. it played amazingly on the C53 side and it was really explosive on Nuzn50 side, which would need more practice which due to time restrictions I cannot do. so I ordered another C53 slapped it on the HL5, went to the practice all eager to play and received a cold shower. I don't know why but this combo just doesn't work. the blade used to be nice feel, soft on gentle touches, short game, great for blocking, amazing for looping and of course, counterlooping. with C53 on both sides, this blade became completely unresponsive, dead, with zero feedback. I could feel a little on BH side, but FH side was totally dead. could a rubber setup choke the blade so much? and what would be the cause so I can predict this with other setups. C53 is not overly heavy, it is a 2.0 rubber, not even max.

Maybe you should wait the c53 to loose its booster from production. You may feel more response from the rubber once it become slow/dead(!).
