Anyone tried V>15 Sticky Soft yet?
There are already comparisons on YT -

. In my view, Soft is totally different, softer sponge makes it more "regular" rubber, while hard sponge in V15 Sticky makes it unique, at least in my view. I like V15 Sticky more (maybe because I started to use it first), its more direct, equally controllable and more dangerous when activacted. I didnt try such versatile rubber at this sponge hardness, soft when needed and powerful with harder strokes. Wish it lasts so short (max 3 months without drop of quality, topsheet wears rather quickly). Maybe Sticky soft deserves longer test, but initial impressions seems, for me, that it is inferior to its harder counterpart. Matter of taste and personal preference probably.

I just tried this V15 sticky extra very briefly today on a friend's paddle. It seems pretty good. Good speed, good spin, good feeling.

It seems more or less equivalent to K3 or ZGX.

Is there any difference?

V15 sticky soft and K3 FX are cousins.
Genextion v2c and Nuzn are cousins too.
The Brands put the same rubber with different tag and they didnt care

Victas V15 sticky is a very different rubber too K3.
It is much much better - IMO it is by far the best hybrid I have tried.
I don't normally like them, they always seem to be trying to be two different things at once.
V15 sticky is very very spinny and very stable in open ups counters and active blocks on fh.

I like it on Falck carbon and Ma Lin carbon - however it is absolute crap unless your playing in a warm venue (mind you what is not)?

I agree. It's an excellent rubber. Can you explain what the differences are compared to K3 and Omega 8 China and how V15 Sticky surpasses them?
I think it is more stable and predictable!
A bit more of you get out what you put in. You don't suddenly get a really fast or flat ball. I personally think it's spinnier than those 2.
But it is definitely more stable.
I suspect the victas sponge is just better quality!!

My rubber of choice since late 2025. Fully agree with you guys, great and predictable rubber, thou I dont think spinnier than K3. The only downside is durability. I would say without drop of quality lasts max 2 months. I wonder if other esn hybrids wear off so quickly too.

which of the two do you recommend on the backhand, v15 sticky or v15 sticky soft?

I play regular V15 Sticky on BH (2,0 thickness). Aa I said before, harder sponge gives IMO more possibilities, both in power generation and short game too. Cannot say why, but I didn't like V15 soft at all, and since 2024 I use V15 on BH, having best results with this rubber, far better than regular tensor (tried many). Try both and compare, everybody is different, but personally I am convinced regular V15 is far better rubber. Safety, control, versatility, power when needed, very good spin. It allows be to play more aggressively while keeping safety. With traditional tensors I had serious control issues, V15 somehow compensates for my weaker technique on BH and allows to play more actively.

The only downside is durability, but all ESN hybrid seem to wear off quickly (I change rubber every 2 months to keep initial quality).

Hope this helps

Does the sponge feel hard when you play? Can you compare to say Dignics 09c? Does the rubber feel dead in passive play? On the backhand I like to open up, flick, rally and then sometimes punch and counter, does the v15 sticky complement this? Thanks in advance

Sponge seems softer then it it real hardness seems to suggest, mainly due to soft sponge. D09 feels harder, is faster, has more prominent catapult but is harder to control at my level. Short game doesn't come with dead feeling, I would say with more subtlety and feel thanks to soft top sheet. Flicks and open ups thanks to tackiness work great, punch and blocks (low trajectory) are also great and conytollable. countertps over the table also fantastic.

But be warned this rubber is not the rocket, you must add your power. If you don't like hybrids and play with energy tensor style rubber with imminent catapult it may feel dead and slow at first.

I add once layer of Falco platinum to gain more control and tempo.

I previously used glayzer09c and I quite liked it, though it was a bit slow. My main concern is this rubber feeling too hard? What is the sponge feeling comparable to in hardness?

I think right now, I need a rubber that can provide confidence in game

As I said, rubber feels much softer than 52.5. Dont analyse too much, just try. I used G09 but like V15 sticky more. It is bit faster, spinnier and controllable. Best balanced esn hybrid IMO. Xiom Omega 8 china is also good, but faster and with little less control

Thank you, I think I’ll go with the sticky. Sticky soft might be too soft for me, I don’t like soft rubbers like tenergy 05 for example
